This video covers removal of the covers of an Elna T34D serger / overlocker as to facilitate access for cleaning, lubricating and general adjustments if required.
You'll see a before and after service comparison to show the importance of looking after your sewing machines.
It does not cover actual lubrication, just panel removal.

That was very instructive to watch. Many thanks for your superb videos on maintenance and access to sewing machines and sergers (overlockers). I used to buy products based on functionality and style. Now I buy products based on ease of maintenance and functionality, with style in the background. How easy is it to clean and maintain? That is my central question whether sewing machine, car, dog, spouse...! 🙂 Showing us access to the inside is reassuring. I also see how they are built - how much metal vs plastic inside. Really helpful in selecting my future serger, most likely an older model. Elna like Bernina was Swiss made, now Japanese. Both countries make quality products so still in good hands. I'd love to know which serger you would select for yourself?
