May want to hand-tighten those self-tapping screws to ensure they don't strip out the plastic they're being threaded into - rather easy to over-torque with power tools. (at very least, set the slipper clutch to the loosest setting rather than the "drill" mode)

That’s a big nope. Self tappers don’t belong on cars. Tri fold blind rivets are okay, or I’d drill the holes and install stainless Allen head bolts through with lock nuts and washers. Self tappers don’t stay tight long and tend to strip out

The whole car literally comes from the factory held together with pop clips and you’re complaining about actual screws!?
