I was watching this and my uncle Sunil came over. He has a 1300hp 97 Supra and a 91 mk3 Supra making 900hp. Also a mostly stock r33 and a r34 that is waiting to be imported when it turns 25.

No there are 1.5jz and I consider that more 2j because of the parts and the whole bottom end

Actually that’s the newer footage of when he finally did a 2jz head because of over heating problems. He later put his s15 pro2 3.4 stroker in after I think he broke the trans.

It started as a 1jz then to a 1.5jz after he blew up the 1jz block. He was having over heating issues so switched to a 2jz head for bigger cooling capacity. Then he switched to his FD Pro 2 3.4L stroker race engine with a dogbox and quick change. This would all make sense if you go back to the clip and listen to what he said “addition to the 2j head”

A 2j is a 2j I don't understand what the issue is the engine is going to sound the same regardless of the chassis so why are you disappointed? Makes no sense
