Another excellent course! Thanks, Annamarie. Empathy and transparency( keep the clients informed) are very important. In a past project, we faced a challenging situation with a client where we had rushed to add several new features to meet their needs. However, just a week before the planned release, the client discovered issues in the application, which led them to refuse the release plan. Our response is firstly we genuinely appreciated their feedback and expressed our understanding of their concerns. Then we immediately initiated a structured action plan. The first step was to analyze and prioritize, and we successfully resolved 30% on our own. We decided to seek outside help from a specialist, which enabled us to address 50% of the issues. For the remaining 20% of less serious issues, we proposed a post-release plan and communicated a detailed schedule to the client. They accepted our plan calmly. Even though We could not resolve 100% of the issues, we and the clients found common ground - set the project on time with good quality. We really implemented a continuous improvement process

Annemarie, thank you for the very helpful lesson! 1. As a former gas station manager and office manager, I've had various еncounters with upset customers or coworkers. The key point in such situations is to maintain calm, to listen carefully customer's/coworker's concerns and to find common ground with them; as well as to show them that you understand them and that their issue will be taken into account and will be fixed as soon as possible. Definitely, showing empathy really helps in handling difficult situations.

Hey Annemarie! I hope you're doing well. I chose option 2 : 😊 To do the management in the time I simply write down in a piece of paper my "To do List", with just 3 top actions to take my day to an next level and always with the growth Mindset and smart work optimizing all the tasks with my best. Finally, to ensure high quality work under pressure, I just do my best that I can with all my current conditions, while I don't have conditions to do better. I don't have time for anxiety or other negative things that aren't in my natural way of mind wealth.

Thank you for sharing your example answer! It sounds like you have a good approach to time management with your strategy of writing down your top 3 action steps. An interviewer might ask a few follow up questions to better understand what a growth mindset means or how this helps you in your work. Similarly they may ask for more detail on how to ensure quality even when conditions aren't ideal. You've got a strong start with your answer. Adding a story to your answer - a specific example of working under pressure for example - would be a great addition.

 @Speakconfidentenglish Thank you for your feedback ! I'm gonna improve my story telling adding my personal story and share more datails. Actually I'm finishing one electronic project for the medical area and I'm working in each detail to ensure the best quality to provide the best UX. To complete each tasks, I write down in an piece of paper the 03 top actions that will impact positivaly and give me the highest perform. Last week I was coding one part of firmware and I had 02 paralell emergency tasks for do , but I needed to finish this part of the code and on collegue didn't liked that he need to wait 15 minutes. So I stopped my task to explain that I really needed to finish my task before help he with your emergency. So after 15minutes I helped he to solve the emergency and now we are very excited to our personal progress in our professional relationship.

I'm so glad this video cam at the right time. I hope it will give you ideas of how to structure your answers. The key to being ready for an interview - and remember the stories/examples you want to share - is practicing. To practice means more than reading or thinking about answers; instead, means to actively write down ideas and to practice speaking them aloud.

How would you describe a big career gap effectively by using any communication method specifically to higher our chances of getting hired ?
@Speakconfidentenglish
@Speakconfidentenglish 8 ай бұрын
Thanks for the question. This is something I cover in-depth in my Confident Job Interviews course. The key is to be honest about the gap; however, you don't need to share specific details. It's also important to indicate other opportunities you've taken during that time to boost you skillset.
