Awesome mods and maintenance. the Grease is only for the Bearings, or can be placed through out the rc cars like spur gear, diff. I noticed you went around the dog bones housing? thank you for the share?

Thanks! Yes, the grease can be used and I recommend to be used in other moving parts too. I didn't show in the movie but I actually did that because the car is shipped completely dry. Diff, motor gears were dry in my case.

the 2 with the wheels, really helpful, thx. I ordered grease for the differentiels but i didnt know you could use it on bearings and the upgraded wheel nut is not a bad idea, honestly. I have the B version, which is a lot faster, as you could imagine, and i can't be rest assured when i know that such power is transfered through some plastic wheel nuts. I'll be sure to check that out next time! ;)

Great amazing video man. I subbed and truly appreciate it. Just one question. Why use grease instead of ball bearing oil?

There is no particular reason. Mainly, I used grease because it is more solid, while the oil can be lost due to centrifugal force when the wheel rotates at high speed. However, the most important is to put something to lubricate. So, you can very well use oil. Thanks for subscribing!

Hey, What voltage does the led light kit need? Your diagram seems low voltage.

It can be connected directly to the rc car battery which is 7.4V. In the schematic it shows 3.7V but is wrong. It should be 7.4V.

Hi, thanks for subscribing! - The change of the bearing will help for sure, because less friction, so more speed. - Filling-up the suspension will give you more stability because more contact with the ground - LED's will help you see it better in the night, for sure. Tested by me. I hope the video gave you some ideas to improve your RC. Enjoy! :)

i can confirm, shocks filled, bearrings are one of the things most people do the first to their a959b , what i also recommand is go from 7 to 12mm wheel adapters so you can fit 1/10 scale tires for more grip. Also the A959B has a metal motor gear but a plastic driveshaft gear, sadly my drive shaft gear is worn out now and i will replace it now with a metal one, What also is a option is to upgrade the end gears of the shaft with metals and replace the diffs with metal gears to. But i recommand just do the simple things like wheels, bearrings and shocks and have fun until something breaks and upgrade it with metal.

The original ones are plastic and not very sturdy. So, the wheel can flex in harsh cornering.

Nope. It comes with bushes by default.

Those shocks aren't sealed. I'd your full up the actual body then it just leaks out the bottom.

That's strange because in my case I see no leaks. Could be that your shocks have some manufacturing inaccuracies causing the leaks, because normally they should not leak.

would of been a good video. but the no talking thing, is less than helpful. the music is so horrible, can't watch it till the end, because ears are bleeding.
