Rockin’ the Falken tires. Love them, very low road noise and smooth ride while keeping the semi aggressive look. They have not failed in easy off road terrain. No complaints. Mounted on a 2014 F-150 Platinum Ecoboost.

I can speak for the BFG’s great tire, had them on my 2000 Silverado for about 2 1/2 years, haven’t rotated them yet, gone about 25,000 miles on them and honestly they don’t even look like they’ve started to wear yet, still look brand new. Best all terrain I’ve ever owned so far, looks great if your wanting that Offroad look but not loud at all on the road. Do great in sand, which is important since I live in Corpus Christi. They also do pretty good in mud. Great all around tire. Although I have to admit my dad has a set of these on his 84 Silverado...

I absolutely love my 33x12.50r15 Wildpeak At3w on my truck, its 2wd with a rear locker and I've yet to get stuck on them in soft sand and mud, they grip almost instantly in the rain unless I really try to spin them, they perform amazing in dirt/gravel as well, I've got about 10k miles on my fronts and only 5k on the rears but so far they're wearing awesome and the road noise is hardly noticeable with windows down doing 90mph on the freeway. I will say that when I measured them, they only come out about 11 3/4" wide mounted on my 8" wheel, but the offroad footprint especially aired down to 10psi is more than enough

Great video for helping us make our AT tire decisions! I would like to add that it would be nice for tire guys to mention that more plies also means more puncture resistance as well, not just more load rating. An important consideration when traveling in remote places and off pavement. Also an inexperienced tire shopper may not understand that the KO2 is also available in the 10 ply LT version, albeit not in all sizes and may be the same situation with the Trailblade AT also. The BFG All-Terrain TA has had a long evolution, fitting as one of the world’s best AT tires for many decades. The KO2 as a result is a better tire than the original TA. Thanks for the video! 👍

Have a 96 Ford Explorer v8 awd and came with new Goodyear wrangler sra’s when I got it, within a month one of the tires had a blowout so I decided to shop for other tires and ended up going for the BFG all terrain ta ko (the original) which has been the best tires I’ve ever had! Been to NC on the beaches and had zero issues (didn’t even have to air down) these tires just grip any surface. Speaking of the dad tire thing, I got these and my dad said it would be a mistake and shortly after I had them installed he went out and got the ko2 for his grand Cherokee and seems to like them. Live in south central pa and winters can be iffy but never had any problems even in deep snow of a foot or more. That’s my experience and for a truck or suv I wouldn’t buy any other tire.

I have had a set of Toyo Open country ATII on my 2017 F150 XTR which has a 2” leveling kit installed. Up here in eastern Canada we go from 30 degrees Celsius to -30 degrees Celsius from summer to winter. I spend about 30% of the time off road in every season. Currently we have just over a foot of snow with ice underneath, on all the back roads. Air down to 12-15 psi and these tires are beautiful! Summer time we haul our 7000lb camper and they are wearing great! Can’t wait to try the ATIII and see how they compare!

Great video, TY! A couple more things to note: *Some of the big tire manufacturers make 2-3 different A/T models to vary in application/use and aggressiveness. The A/T spectrum from almost H/T to almost M/T is more crowded than ever, which is good for you, the buyer [more choice! :) ] *Many A/T tires are made in both passenger "car" ('P' or no letter displayed before tire sizes) specs and light truck (LT) specs. This introduce some confusion and segmentation but allows for more variety. For example, most of the Falcon Wilkpeak AT3/W sizes are LT tires, but some are P tires such as 265/60R20 and 275/55R20 (the latter is available from the factory on some 2019 or later Ram 1500 trucks). As to be expected, the 'P'-rated (not speed but passenger, not LT) tires are MUCH cheaper than LT tires and offer a more comfortable ride being that sidewalls are less rigid. So, if you're strapped for cash and don't haul heavy or do somewhat more hardcore off-roading and crawling, the P tires will probably be fine for you. *The passenger spec tires also tend to have a bit shallower tread depth. For example, on the Falken Wildpeaks, tread depth is 19/32 or 20/32 on LT's and 13/32 for P's. So, P's are cheaper but probably shorter life.

I have the toyo at2 in a 35x12.50 on my 04 lifted sierra 1500 and I'm sitting right around the 50,000 mile mark on them and they look and still perform great. I have a set of toyo m/t if I need them for those long long deer camp stays. I drive over 100 miles daily work work mostly all wide open highway and the at2 are just simply amazing on the roads and handle just fine when I slip off the highway to a fishing hole or camping spot. They clean out decent enough. I'm excited about the at3 guys I cannot wait. Toyo and nitto are the only 2 brands I'll ever even think about slapping on my old daily driver! I would recommend them, only because they are the only ones of the five I have experience with!

Hankook Dynapro AT-M rf10 FTW! 50k mile warranty and currently Amazon prices them for $1380 shipped for a set of 325/50r22. On a Ram 3500 w/ 6" lift and 22x12 wheels = No noise and ride is better than stock. One of the most under rated tires out there, I couldn't find much info/reviews on bigger trucks but have always ran Hankooks on multiple cars and the price and quality of ride and handling in nasty weather has always impressed me.

From what I read and gathered. Toyo are great. But, many people that had toyo and now have cooper at3 xlt, prefer cooper. Bet you can guess what I purchased and initial impressions seem very positive. 285/65r18 minimal rubbing at stock height on 2018 Silverado 1500. Some people even reported getting 100k out of their coopers.

I have a 1986 Toyota standard cab 4x4 with stock 22R motor that's been in the family for 34 years (I bought it new and have it back again now). I've had "N" Series Buckshots on it which were good in the mud but VERY loud. Moved to BFG ATs from there. I seem to recall they were supposed to be 32" tall (these are on 15" rims). To date, the best set of tires I've ever owned as far as usefullness and longevity. I wore them out and moved to a 33" Mud King. So here is where I had a problem. The truck has a 3" lift on it which I did with the intention of installing 33" tires. However, when I went from the BFGs to the Mud Kings, I was no longer able to really use my 5th gear (it's a standard transmission). For that reason, I'm trying to stay with about the same size I had with the BFGs. Any recommendations/comments??? Will be much appreciated.

Have had several AT tires over the years. Currently running the wildpeaks ATW3. This tire imo is the best AT. Something will have to blow me away to get me to switch. I spend a lot of time in the UP of Michigan snow and they have done excellent. In rain they perform excellent. They don’t make much road noise at all. I haven’t done any true mud running so I can’t attest to its performance there but regular mud and fields excellent as well. 40000 on mine and the wear is great

The Falken Wildpeak has a slightly milder sister tire, the Sumitomo Encounter AT. Sumitomo actually manufactures most of the Falken tires I've come across (I know if some manufactured by Ohtsu). The Falken Wildpeak HT, for example, is a straight re-brand of the Sumitomo Encounter HT. While I can't speak to the origins of the rest of the Atturo lineup, the Atturo Trail Blade AT seen here is a re-brand of the TBC Brands Wild Trail AT, sold under the brand names Multi-Mile, Delta, and Eldorado, and possibly a few others as well (possibly Vanderbilt, Cordovan, and Americus).

Looking for any insight on which tires respond the best in heavy snow and ice conditions. I have it narrowed to the Falken Wildpeak AT3, Cooper Discoverer AP3 and Toyo Open Country ATII. I live in Northern Canada with extremes low temps and weather. I run a 2016 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 with level kit. If anyone based on their experience has used these tires in similar conditions I would appreciate any input you can share. Thanks

I had KO2's on my ZR2 great tire but were rock throwing SOB's, you even looked at gravel and you hear it pinging off the body and frame. Ran Toyo AT II's on my Sierra and they were alot better as far as picking up stones but there is a fair bit of road noise. I would bet they were just as, if not louder than the Toyo MT's. Looking for a tire for my F150 now and not sure what I want to go with, I wish the wild peaks had a slightly more aggressive look.
