Here's a list of some of my favorite, available, rye whiskies. All of these bottles should be pretty easy to find and most are very affordable!

I like several rye whiskey Sagamore cask is a very good. Russell’s single barrel rye is a top choice for me Old Overholt 114 is the best budget rye on the market it’s 19 in my area. JD has seriously good rye’s the JD SBBP is one I have on my shelf always. As my daily it’s OF 100 rye and of course Knob creek is something I keep well stocked at all times. Great list. Enjoy!!

Great list, I've tried quite a few of these. Another great and super available rye is OF100 rye. It's my go to sipper if I'm feeling rye that day.

Agree, OF is great! Thought about including it but it was already a long list and personally at that $30ish price point I like the JD bonded a little better.

I really enjoyed this video. Getting into Rye's myself now. My first introduction to rye was a a few years and it was Sazerac Rye and I hated it. Now, I am digging a Sagamore single barrel store pick, the JD Barrel Proof Rye, and a Hard Truth pick that is a sweet mash. Gonna grab a Blue Run Golden Rye as it's on clearance at my local for 70 bucks and that Pikesville too. I prefer sweeter more bourbon friendly ryes but they sure pack a lot of flavor.

I too am a huge fan of the JD Heritage Rye (only one pour left 🤢) I've had a bottle of the Sag double oak and you confirmed what I was thinking/remembering that maybe the JD was close to the sagamore. Nice list.

There aren't a lot of double Oaked ryes. Feels like there's some potential there because those two are two of my favorites! JD could easily make that Heritage a shelf staple if they wanted to.

Rittenhouse is my go-to for a Manhattan and sipping. Hard to beat at $28 in Virginia

I can pick you up a Sagamore 8yr. They are everywhere down here in TX. $81 +tax. Should be able to ship for about $10-$15.

I see it everywhere in VA and we're usually one of the crappier markets. It's definitely available online too.

@@averagejoeswhiskey that’s good to know. I rarely see it through the west, but hopefully that means it will be regularly available before long.

@sideshowonacid yep you should definitely see it soon. I'm hoping the same thing will happen with the OF 1924 but it's been out for awhile now and I just saw a bottle in DC for 300 so not holding my breath on that one.

@@averagejoeswhiskey double check, but I’m pretty sure O Fo said it was gonna be a limited or annual release. I know my city just got another shipment about 2 weeks ago. It wasn’t a lot…around 25 cases, but the first wave was only 20 cases. So take that info for what it’s worth.
