Hey Rogan! I really enjoyed your video and i'm now thinking about taking a trip to Exuma to see one of those gorgeous beaches you talked about! Let me tell you, there are so many gems here in our beautiful archipelago......i've been to some incredible beaches in Long Is......totally unforgetable 👍🏼. Thanks for the tour ❤❤

Hi Denise. You are sooooo welcome. I am so happy you enjoyed the video. Listen...one of my friends JUST called me to talk about Long Island. He was saying that the blue hole is a must-see. I have never been to Long Island. What a shame. Yes, you absolutely need to visit Exuma. I promise you won't regret it. Take advantage of everything it offers.

Hi Kim! I am so jealous right now. I mean that. 🤣🤣🤣 I am freezing in DC. Still not used to the weather. Yes, go Paradise Island. I think you will thoroughly enjoy it. If you get a chance and if it's in the budget, go to Blue Lagoon Island. The dolphins are there. But, I enjoy the boat ride so much. Please be safe on your journey!

Very very nice, You are so right when you said that you left out so many other islands. I am from Abaco and I know plenty of beautiful spots in Abaco. I also agree with you where you said that Nassau gets plenty of bad rep. I have been here since 2013 and I love it. I have had over 50 diffirent guest stay at my place and I teach them how to catch the bus. I only do this because I know it is safe, well with the exception of the crazy bus drivers .

Thank you so much! I appreciate you watching the video. Yes, Abaco is a beauty. I just know that it had a setback (at least Marsh Harbour did) following Hurricane Dorian. That was my only reluctance in recommending Abaco now. But, Abaco is such a beauty. Wow...you let them stay at your place? That is amazing. And you need to record a video of you showing them how to catch the bus. Now, THAT is must-see TV. LOL.

Time of the year is the key to enjoying family islands. Winter is best for Eleuthera. The mosquitos can get heavy after May.

Roe you made me feel like getting on that plane this week end to exuma,I want to experience those tour,went there before but the only thing I remember was Elizabeth harbor that turquoise water that view thanks for helping me pack

Hi Rogan, Sure wish we could have talked before you made this video. I have spent a lot of time in the Exumas, though Eleuthera remains my favorite island. I have spent more than one day with my four-legged friends and they are good company. They drink rum punch too. And no, it was not alcohol that killed the pigs a few years ago. It was contaminated livestock feed from china. I found out about this because it also killed livestock on Andros and Eleuthera but that did not get the press attention the pigs got. We lost eight porkers because of the bad feed. If you want to help the pigs bring fresh fruit, veggies, and water. Thunderball Grotto is safe in most conditions. Part of the movie Thunderball was filmed there. The film crew knocked a hole in the center of it to allow more light. Prior to that it was a sealed dome.

Ed, you are a man who sure knows The Bahamas. Yes...it was Thunderball. Thank you. The Grotto is amazing. Oh, and I cried when those pigs died. Like I really shed tears. And actually, it was reported that the feed was contaminated. I read that in one of the dailies.

Hello I plain on staying in Nassau possibly in the Riu Palace what is a good hotel that you would recommend to stay in? Also, is there tour boats/guides around Nassau that can take you to exuma? Love your video!

Hi Yailine. Thanks so much for watching. Atlantis and Baha Mar are terrific hotels. You should check them out. There are high-speed ferries that go to Exuma. They leave from Paradise Island.

@Yailine Salazar Hello, if you are going to Nassau or Paradise Island you will be fine with your credit card. But you *WILL NEED* to have cash as well, as there are still a lot of places that do not accept cards. The Bahamas accepts US currency. The US dollar and Bahamian dollar are on par in The Bahamas. So, you will be spending a dollar for dollar there. Bahamians are happy to accept US currency.

Hi there. Unfortunately, I cannot answer that. I suppose you would have to apply to an opening. The purpose of the video was to explain the avenues you can use to find a job.
