Hey guys! I decided to tell you my own tastes with my top songs of Eurovision 2024. First category are "ballads" so I went through out of all them and give you the order from my least favorite to most. Enjoy!

Eurovision is my passion. Eurovision was my work and I am still gladly part of the professional community of this project. I started at Eurovision 2016 as Czech Head of Delegation. Such a Eurovision story! Form Eurovision in Sweden I went to antoher ESC experience. Kiiv 2017 Eurovision. This was my first and last failiur. Sometimes you need to learn trough losing even it is not plasant. We ended up 13 in the semifinal, second best score of Eurovision Czechia back then. But after this we established ESCZ national selection format. It was mostly held online. Because of this we found Mikolas Josef who went 6th at Eurovision 2018 in Portugal. Than 11th with Lake Malawi, at Eurovision 2019 in Tel Aviv, Israel.
Eurovision story is crazy. After finding all candidates and songs (-1) for ESCZ 2020 I resigned and left the television for working freelance.
Not to stop being part of Eurovision, I created this channel as I have an urge not to do just Eurovision Reactions from a different perspective. But also to do national selection reactions, watch others how they do their craft and also give a different approach for Eurovision fans.
I am very glad was part of many eurovision juries. Mostly in national selection and since 2017 I was in MGP Norway, Eurovision Malta, UMK national selection Finland. Juror in Melodifestivalen 2016. Biggest national selection. Also helped Eurovision Ireland, Eurovision Estonia, Eurovision Azerbaijan and many others.

Wow Jan. I remember your videos from past few years you were always indifferent about anything Israel had, quite cold. I also remember you were in Tel Aviv 2019 and I saw a few short clips of you and I said to myself " who is this young cool guy from Chechia? ". I remember you well. And to hear you for the first time speak like that about Israel is truly heartwarming. Truly. You are warm, sincere and understanding, and in such a time, that almost all the euro-vloggers - including the ones who were in Tel Aviv 2019 - have cowardly and disgustingly decided to ignore Eden and her song - which is completely AGAINST the spirit of the Eurovision - you stand tall and embracing instead of rejecting; it is amazing to see. Eden deserves your praises. She has something to say, yes. She speaks load and clear, yes. Today, you are a hero for acknowledging Eden; in great contrast to others from this community. First of all, I have very warm relationship with Israel, love the country, love being there. That is one thing. But when I am reviewing and reaction, I dont put this in mind, even its hard sometimes towards my own country, where I try also as much to be "objective". So to Israel, if I like the song, I simply like it, if not, not. I am not trying to base my reactions and reviews on who I like. This is not how I work. Ofc, I am sad of many who boycott, but its their choice and also we must respect it. This is democracy, we dont need to like decisions of others but after all, thats their channels and their freedom of speech. It is something we should appreciate as those are the fundaments of our countries, our values. Then we can discuss and thats missing, but its not my problem, I concetrate on what I want to do and I am doing it. Thx for your comment, very heartwarming!

Of the ballads, I agree. I was hesitant to give it a listen with an open mind so I had to overcome that 'problem'. I prefer listening to Hurricane over, say, Loreen's 'Tattoo', which says something about its winning potential.

Regarding Israel song, everyone I know who understands what it's about got very very emotional when listening. I suspect a large part relates to the grim allusions made in the dance routine, and so I wonder how much of it will get across just with song -- without the video. Either way, fantastic video. Every single person in Israel is heart broken and knows someone who was murdered or kidnapped on October 7th. This song represents the emotion of our people.

Thank you for your review. Funny when people say that Eurovision is not political and at the same time voting against Israel because of politics. Second, why to express pain for killed and kidnapped kids and women is political? And third, yes, this song is about terrorist massacre on oct 7, but it could apply for any other personal tragedy anywhere. Great song

When I listen to Israel's song i feel like i've listened these kind of songs a millions of time...like typical ballad you hear on tv every time!!! Portugal and Serbia are my favourite ballads this year!!! Love Iolanda's voice in Grito....and all white outfit gives me some kind of "purity" while i listen to it...perfect! Visualy, Ramonda is completely opposite. Dark staging compared to white Grito, but somehow the song sucks you in and it's a whirlwind of emotions...you can't escape. Love them both so much!!!!

Nice to have "just you" (no statistics) this time! We do not really agree when it comes to the ballads this year, but we don't have do. My favourite is 💜Ramonda 💜from SERBIA! I love the voice, the poetic lyrics, the whole arrangement and it is definitely building and developing (listen again...? 😉) I am just a bit worried because they got the worst spot in the line up of the fist semi final.

@bozjidar1720 Absolutely not, it's an amazing powerful song. Its a story of loved ones who was murdered and become an angel up in heaven. Boys and beautiful girls who went to dance at night and feel free, who loved music and were free spirit. And when the sun rise and it was the end of there life, because of terrorist gang, terrorists who also harm the lives of the Palestinians, take their money for guns and weapons and let them live in poverty . And Eden Golan's song is stunning.

Your review was profesional and accurate. The songs of Portugal and Serbia can be amazing for epic movies. France and Belgium are strong songs. The song of IL is two levels above this competition, if Beyonce had this song she would break the internet. Btw, last year Czech song was nice, my niece (6 years old) watch the song in loops 😂

Ramonda is very special. It is your expectations that are wrong. A ballad does not NEED to explode into a screaming frenzy for it to be considered great. It is not a screaming contest. Ramonda is soft, delicate, soulful, fragile song with an amazing story behind it and perfect structure. You disregarding it all just shows how superficial analysis you did.

Thank you for your beautifal reaction. This song is about the Horrible terror attached on Israel on October 7th. The small hole in her T-shirt (3:08minute in your video) is to show the bullets that killed so many Pepole in this day. Many young Pepole was murdered in the Nova dance party, in the middle of the party was the terror attack, Pepole die without saying goodbye. The upside down Olive tree is the logo of Golani. "Golani" Brigade (Hebrew: חֲטִיבַת גּוֹלָנִי) is an Israeli army military infantry brigade that many of their soldiers were murdered on October 7th. Portugal -Belgium - Azerbaijan - France , my top 4 ballads and within my top 10 as well. I like Serbia, but I agree with you, it’s just what we expected from a lullaby. On the other hand, I find Israel pretty bland, even quite forgettable…
