Stuff one pocket with bags, or take your dog to a place where you don't have to pick up. Those screws are sold by the each, and you could pound nails just as fast, using the proper nailing technique.

Why is it woodworkers get so much crap for having expensive good tools that makes them feel like they have to do a video like this to prove you don’t need good expensive tools to do something nice? Here’s what I learned: Good tools makes the job EASIER, not EASY. Even with good tools it’s still hard and expensive to do woodworking. You invest in the tools over time doing a lot of HARD work WITHOUT good tools to get there first. Yes you CAN do it without good tools but it WILL be hard work to complete the task and it may not look the greatest at first. If you put in the effort you will have an easier time at woodworking if that’s what you want to do. You cannot simply jump into the best tools and the best equipment from scratch without breaking your bank.

Where in the hell are you getting raw lumber that comes that flat and straight? Like.. Half the work and tools needed are for getting the raw material into a workable baseline of flat and straight. So if your starting position is from that.. Then of course you can just use a saw and drill to construct something, we all could lol.
@artyentreri8635

If you sift through the trash piles they call lumber at the big box stores there are some straight pieces. Glue and clamps go a long way making a softwood benchtop. "We all could" That's his point. Anyone can do this.
