@@patrykboduch9458 there is a tutorial of building a manual fish farm, and it needs only 1x1 water source(must be exposed to the sky) and 1 waterlogged chest, but that somehow allows us to catch treasure too. I tried it and it works, I don't know how the game work anymore.

You can make an infinite water source from one bucket, if you place a bucket of water on a block, bonemeal it to get seagrass and then bonemeal the seagrass to make it tall seagrass, it'll make a second water source.

You should buy as much moss as you can. It's your only source of farmland you have. You can't get stone, so you can't make more moss, but you can make moss into dirt, and dirt into farmland. So get all the moss you can! You can get more emeralds for different tree types later, but dirt is a hot commodity!

This is something I am thinking hard about. Moss = dirt. But having 2 moss unlocks wood which means dramatically increased rate at which we see more traders. But not foxes? Meaning Emeralds will still be rare. I think the play is to take 2 moss. This way I can trade for sapling = apples. Maybe taking 4 or 6 moss so I have at least some dirt to grow that sapling on? This way I just need 1 or 2 more emeralds while waiting for the sapling trade.

@@BudgetMC You also have to remember that getting farmland destroys grass. Trampled farmland becomes dirt, not grass. If you ever want to use grass blocks, you need extra dirt to spread the grass to. Also, more importantly, if you grow an azalea tree, you lose one of your two moss blocks to rooted dirt. You must then try to get more azalea saplings from either bonemealing the remaining moss and breaking the saplings, or hope to get back enough from the leaves.

you can just grow the saplings on 1 block and the trees on the other, so only the 2nd is turned to rooted dirt. saving for oak for apples makes more sense in the long term so that you can get gold from piglins, a weakening splash from a witch, and a zombie villager to cure it and get far better items

Just a couple of tips for you that came up to my mind: -have in mind that zombies have a chance to drop iron ingots when killed, allowing you to craft cauldron to collect water from rain and later crafting bucket to create water source for further needs (like mob grinders etc.) [it is possible to build mob grinder without a water, however you would need slabs iirc] -Some ways of obtaining dirt that might be useful in the future: "By tilling coarse dirt, the player can convert gravel into dirt. Two blocks each of gravel and dirt become four blocks of coarse dirt, which can then be placed and tilled. Since gravel is renewable through bartering with piglins, this makes a renewable source of dirt. Another way to obtain renewable dirt makes use of moss blocks. Azalea converts the moss block below it into rooted dirt when grown into a tree. In Java Edition, Large spruce trees convert up to about 100 moss blocks into podzol when grown. Since moss can be converted from stone using bone meal, and stone can be renewably generated with water and lava, dirt can be renewably created as long as there is access to water, lava and moss blocks. A third way to obtain renewable dirt is by buying podzol or rooted dirt from wandering traders. However, only 18 blocks of podzol or 10 blocks of rooted dirt can be purchased from each trader, so this method cannot be performed on a large scale."

The issue with stone generation is obtaining lava. It’s renewable once you have the first bucket, but how do you get the first bucket?

Bro, I love imagining a lore about this series, like, a cosmic entity that popped out of nowhere in the middle of a void dimension lost nowhere in the cosmos, and he starts building something like a floating starship or floating land in the middle of said void somewhere in an unknown universe, after eons and eons of hard work and learning from exhaustive trial-error for eons, till a civilization in such hopeless silent cosmical void is formed and grows into a bigger, more cheerful, more lively and more noisy little rock in the middle of Space, so said entity starts being a little less lonely over time. To be able to consistently pick up blocks you've placed that are even with your "ground" you could jump off with one block in your inventory and look up as your falling and place a block underneath then when you respawn you could crouch over the edge and place blocks one level underneath your ground level. Yay! wood era is coming! Unlocking wood is basically unlocking a mob spawner, if you build it entirely with wood planks, it uses about 1500 wood planks to build a normal mob farm (the 4 8x8 spawning platforms with trapdoors and water) since you get a ton of bones every morning I think it's not difficult to farm 6 stacks of logs then build the entire spawner in one go. and during wood farming process you might get enough emeralds for 2 buckets of fish too, who knows lol. Btw, I think expanding area to spawn foxes might be a good idea, build the spatform with wood, and I'm pretty sure foxes can spawn on wood if it's covered with snow layers.

another cheaper alternative for infinite water source, instead of use 10 emeralds for 2 buckets of fish. Buy one bucket of fish with 5 emeralds, and use 1 more emerald to buy sand or red sand. Build a 2x2x2 space, put the water on the top space(so there are only flowing water at the bottom), make sure that the bottom of that space is sand, bonemeal the sand for sea grass, bonemeal the sea grass for taller sea grass and it will create another water source block. I'm on Bedrock btw, but I think it works on Java too. Note: rooted dirt and moss won't work, you can't bonemeal it. You can convert the rooted dirt to regular dirt tho. You can buy podzol and turn it into dirt and use that instead of sand too but that cost 3 emeralds.

@@BudgetMCyou can also do it with 1 water source and a cauldron (iron from zombie drops) and 1 empty bottle from a witch drop. Use bottle on the water source, empty into cauldron until it's full, the pull out with bucket (which you already have).

You should’ve bought the bucket from the trader so you can get the water. Once you obtain water you can use it to convert zombies into drowns. Then you can kill the drowns to obtain copper (it is rare). Finally you can craft the copper into a lighting rod and use it to easily have lighting strike your pigs! Edit: here’s a cool tip by hovering over an item in your inventory and pressing a key that corresponds to your hot bar slot like “1” that block will instantly go the slot you pressed (in this case “1”) and even replace itself with an item that was there

If a wandering trader traded you a fish bucket you could actually get infinite water with one bucket by placing it in a 4x4 then picking the fish back up when it's in the non source block, then if you found a way for tripwire hooks you could make a string duper. Also villagers are theoretically obtainable

It took me a while to think about it, but yeah. He could have a witch throw a splash potion of weakness on a zombie villager and use a golden apple (through a lot of grinding) to get a villager. Remember, he can’t get into the nether, so potion brewing is impossible

Little trick u csn use is jump down with a snow block and try to place it underneath that way ur Island will have more thickness which could help u farm snow easier or for making floors

Grown saplings don't instantly kill grass. If you're quick about getting rid of the bottom-most tree block, the grass can stay but it's risky.

Nice grind. Buy the bucket of pupperfish for the water. And having bonemeal, you can create a falling water into a water source block. Then, you will have two water source blocks. You will now have infinite water.

Fucking love the videos! You are the only one I know thats doing this. In a world where social media has caused the average person to have the attention span of a gold fish. We find this man...
