I bought one of these for $35 new from Temu and I am happy with it. Its on my budget pedal board and I push it so you can tell its a cheapo digital reveb pedal. That said it definitely does a great "Horror Surf" vibe! If you want a great "all rounder" Reverb pedal, pick up a Oceans 11. The Caline can't compare but again, if you dig the digital vibe of the trails, you can't go wrong. Budget board (on a skateboard deck no less!) EHX 2020 tuner- Caline Pure Sky- Demonic Machines $50 Fuzz (that was what it was named)- Stax Flanger- Caline Old School Reverb I use an inexpensive daisy chain power source and I anchored and zip tied the power cables down. I use this for a Garage Rock sound on a Peavey Studio 210 setup. Its fun and silly (the amp has a FANTASTIC chorus built into it and of course another overdrive option in the amp with its own reverb). So plenty of options. 😎👍✨

I didn't try driving it hard, so I didn't get to experience this. Sounds like it would be glorious 👍 There is a demon FX coming up for demo that's based on the Keeley caverns and I'm very excited 😁

A great presentation of the Reverb effect from the brand Caline, I have had it for a few months in my one PB exclusively with effects from this brand. Overall, I can say that I like their effects and especially Reverby and Delay (they have a lot of models). Good quality for a reasonable price. Thank you very much for the video. 40 quid wouldn't even get you a third of a reverb pedal when I first started 🤣🤣 I cannot confirm nor deny, but what I can say is... Mon the biff 😉👍

I might be thinking of something but I seem to recall it leaned either a bit ambient or some folks thought it was really good for church. If you’re thinking surfing it might not be the one but definitely check it out. Ali express has their anniversary sale starting tomorrow so a lot of things will be discounted. That’s one I’m thinking about myself. But for neither of those uses mind you. Want to actually hear it in room and see how different things work w/it.

@@BudgetPedalChapthat I want to find it for a good price and see how it sounds. Nothing giving me stay away vibes and not, “oh my god I have to have it”, but worth trying. There’s the whole thing of being in room and interacting and actually hearing stuff by its self and then with other things that there really just isn’t a substitute for but that’s the nice thing w/ the cheaper stuff, you get to test and try, don’t have to worry about a drink getting spilled on by a friend if you take it out. Probably won’t get stolen and then it’s not an expensive boutique or vintage peice. Plus if you discover you really like a particular thing you can still use the cheap one on your mess around board and then invest in the nicer version for your “pro” stuff. I really felt like the pedal market was very out of whack for awhile and now, maybe with some effort and its not their yet but more of it’s closer to the instrument market where you pay 10xs more for something that plays/sounds/feels only 10% better and if you know what you want and depending on what you can do or get your tech to do you might be able to do better for less with the cheaper instrument. I’ve played some expensive stuff that sounded awful. My uncle ran a vintage shop in Hollywood (and I’m the only family member he never gave an instrument or anything to, what’s up w/ that?) and valuable and collectable doesn’t mean good. Other things define that.
