I have the Mazda3 hatchback turbo in red but it only comes in 6 speed automatic (real gears not a cvt). I love it despite not being a manual. For manual I have a 2016 Miata. Im so happy to own both cars.

I’m surprised, Subaru makes it easy for the STI drive train swaps for the 2024 WRX and the previous model, these newer WRXs have very high compression ratios and respond well to performance mods

Civic Si, Toyota 86/GR86, Mazda3 hatch, and Miata are all pretty solid options imo, I’d say those ones aren’t bad at all and I’ve heard they’re fun cars to drive, while also being pretty reliable. Haven’t done enough research on the others on this list to say much about them, the Acura Integra might be solid too though

Not the Miata or the Mazda3 hatchback turbo. And maybe others as well don't require much to be serviced, especially because of their reliability (Japanese and Hyundai) and low cost of maintenance. Even cheaper if you do it yourself.

My friend had a 2016 WRX STI when they first came out he bought it brand new off the lot that car spent more time in the shop than he ever did driving it it had transmission problems and all kinds of things and it was a manual that's what really surprised me the transmission still had problems because of the electronics

I’ll keep my muscle memory 02 tabs over some screen. I like looking at the road n being able to turn my heat or ac or roll a window up or down without looking at a screen to do it. I feel like it’s safer as well 😂

The Integra doesn't belong in the video since it isn't really a sports car, unless it's the Type-S. And the Type-S also wouldn't belong in the video because it is so damn expensive at over $52k + dealer markups of over $10k

my choice would be a Chevrolet Camaro 2SS okay that's not a cheap version its the top trim starting at $52,300 granted the cars also been around for nearly 6 decades and currently averages around 26.3 MPG combined so depending on driving style/traffic it would take 17.5 gallons to get from Boston to Washington DC

@@raycharles9880 in a Sports Car Manual in a Luxury or commuter car automatic especially when the gear ratio on the Automatic gives you a faster 0-60 MPH time such as is the case with the Cadillac CT5 V Blackwing the Automatic transmission reaches 60 MPH in 3.4 seconds 2 tenths of a second faster than the manual transmission granted the Auto has four more gears its a ten speed while the manual is a 6 Speed

I’m a tow truck driver been doing it for 7 years. I will never buy a Hyundai or a Kia. They are shit. We tow them brand new with blown engines. If you’re gonna spend that money go for a Toyota or a Honda. Sucks that Hyundai sucks because their new cars are looking good and they are fun. They just don’t last. 💯

Hyundai and Kia have terrible engineers or not enough in research and development. I get show little guys bottom Of the list first. But only suburban dads think that’s a race car. Though it does move and handle and respond well. It won’t do it for 100k miles of abuse let alone 230k miles of abuse. And all my hondas and Toyota’s have and still going as I build other motors and I got big block upgrades for when the original Motors go. But so far I rio 8-9k rpm every drive

I would still rather have my 07 G35 vq35hr sedan over anything on this list and i spent les than a 1/3 of what these entry level econobox "sports cars" are selling for you can get something way more fun and with at least 300hp that will gap any of these cars for way less money and have money left over to dump into making a already fast car even faster
