The instructions on my machine don’t even explain any of what you did and that’s why I ended up here on KZfaq. I also really appreciate noting which ones had self-cleaning and which ones do not. As well as explaining overall the differences in how they work. I have a manufacturer rebrand of the "Igloo" ice maker (which itself uses the same parts as the Kingswire and iKich) , but it has a severe long-term weakness worth taking note of. If it runs out of water, it will turn off the fans and leave the internal peltier cooling system running. This can cook the exhaust fan and cause the refrigerant in the cooling pipes to expand. Mine only lasted 3 months before the expansion caused a refrigerant leak this morning and killed the machine. It no longer produces more than 1 tiny ice cube at a time.

Browsing KZfaq for pellet ice makers, I found your channel and really enjoyed your comprehensive review of these portable ice makers. In future video reviews, it would be good to mention if ice makers have water filters. Although I love Sonic-type ice, the flavor of the ice (kind of a reverse-osmosis taste) makes for a great tasting drink but one can also enjoy the infused flavored drink in the ice which provides a very satisfactory way of finishing all of your drink of choice.

This was super helpful. I've been trying to research these for a while now and always give up because there's too many variables and the reviews are all over the place. Thanks for your video and reviews and all the studying and comparing of the various ice machines. What are the safety issues involved with ice? Also, what is the deal with certain ice producing fizz when pouring sodapop? Are there any ice machines out there that make slushy drinks? I love putting a bottle of water in my freezer for 2 1/2 hours and getting that beautiful slushy type of ice that forms in the bottle.

Thank you so much for going through everything you did for this video. Amazing. Sonic ice. I’m guessing it’s what I call. Fuzzy eyes. Yeah I wouldn’t bother getting a icemaker for my countertop unless it was fuzzy ice. So I am experimenting with my new fuzzy ice machine right now pure distilled water not a good idea no minerals so it’s kinda dense and not as fuzzy. So now I’m trying half filtered and half distilled. I don’t wanna have to do all filtered, but I will get the perfect consistency. Thank you again for all your help your help.

Based on this video, I decided that the E-EUHOMY-Maker-IM-F-Series was the ice maker for me. Pure square ice instead of bullets? Yes. Don't mind breaking up the ice before using? Sounds fine! Don't mind paying a little more for the pure square ice? Yes that's me. I love the fact that this video went into detail to explain the tradeoffs I am making so that I am empowered to make the decision that's right for me.
