Can't believe AT&T and T-Mobile still offer their standalone tablet plans! Definitely my favorite and I also got Project Genesis which works pretty well for unlimited hotspot.

Thanks for the video. Question, wonder why T-Mobile allows international roaming with all their plans, but the business plans? If you're a business...wouldn't it be more likely (versus personal plan) that you may travel and NEED international roaming? Do they offer an option to add international roaming that you know of? Thanks again
@MobileInternetResourceCenter
@MobileInternetResourceCenter 8 ай бұрын
Their smartphone plans include international roaming. But their 'business internet' plans do not, they are meant for domestic use only and generally for fixed locations.

Hello, thank you for your video, Could you give me some advice? I need a cellular internet connection (actually 3 different sites) in a remote area (on a farm), so we can have an wifi signal to monitor our solar power production. We have been using the old MC760. the old 3G mobile broadband device, with TMobile, I have been having problems with this setup and think we should upgrade to something more modern. I would need a plug-in (not battery powered) device, Any suggestions? Thank you very much in advance, Gypsy

Hi there, I just reached one of the right reps who immediately found the $20 At&t tablet plan you spoke of. Great price! but, does it work like the old $35 unlimited or the new $55 50gg ($35 w/autopay)) where the sim card "just works" in an at&t hotspot? That's even greater! if you give me the right answer I promise to sign up as a member ! - THANK YOU for all of your hard work.

This might be a bit of a lazy question but what would be the best backup internet plan for your home? For example, my charter has been out for 2 days and I’d like to have a backup option when it happens. I’d like to be able to plug my WiFi into a fully functioning internet that just works. I am currently on Tmobile and have phone service, a tablet and a watch.

Are there any prepaid plans that support buying a block of data (say 50GB) and using that in a hotspot/mifi device until it runs out? My use case is inconsistent travel and I'd rather not pay monthly. Thanks!

We occasionally see such options (such as for Peplink Routers with eSIMs) - but the costs are prohibitively high. Here's our guide for part-time travelers: www.rvmobileinternet.com/part-time

@@MobileInternetResourceCenter I was hoping to also see if something like this were possible, or carryover data on a cheap plan that could build up when not traveling I was also wondering if anyone you know uses a WWAN laptop and what plan they use (but I think I would still prefer something like mentioned above, carryover data)

Verizon does enforce the address lock to home internet but T-Mobile doesn't so you can just it wherever T-Mobile has service.

I'm also using a home Internet service but from T-Mobile. I pay $30 per month and I use it primarily for mt RV traveling the southwest with no problems. T-Mobile seems to be ok with traveling use and has not enforce the home use only rule. I got a $150 rebate card from T-Mobile duo my 1st 15 months is only $20 per month. I have use the the T-Mobile gateway in Texas, Arizona and California so far. Sometimes I will get over 200mg download. I watch Netflix until the cows come home. Sorry Starlink users.

Visible also limits hotspot to one device at a time. So you can’t hotspot multiple devices at the same time.
@Iamfree1962
@Iamfree1962 Ай бұрын
They have changed that and you can have multiple devices at Visible. visible plans have gone from 5mbps to 10 mbps on Visible plus plan. Video is still limited to around 2mbps so SD 480p but I often get 720p with Visible and rarely 1080. I have uncongested Verizon towers out in a very rural area and I do not travel much so Visible Basic works great for me. I use the unlimited hotspot to run my laptop which is my home internet more or less because it is about the only plan available where I live besides very expensive ones.
