Avril was a 260 pound true edge… not the same at all but still excited about the pick. If Mafe can continue his growth or last years second round pick Hall can play a big role with Nwosu coming back our pass rush has a lot of potential

idk why people keep bringing up EDGE / DE guys. Leo and Murphy are beef in the middle. They blow the A gap right the fuck up and bring chaos into the backfield Murphy is an absolute bowling ball. Remember in LOTR when the orcs wheel Grond out to seige Minas Tirith? Yeah, Murphy is GROND. *GROND* !

@@goodolarchie so u r saying he is more Red Bryant and Brandan Mebane good point but I do think Leonard will play a little DE next year but we shall see. I was just using those two because they were a duo much like Red Bryant and Chris Clemons were.

Murphy is a more athletic Mebane. Williams is Bennett. It's still an amazing pick as Mebane was HIGHLY productive and this is a more athletic version of him.

Florio & C.Simms & Peter King love B.Murphy2 (who loves HoF LoB M.Bennett & is 12s from age 10). Top DT's are v expensive so to get 1 on a rookie deal is GREAT. It all starts with RUN D & RUN O, in nfl's most stormy rainy windy icy slippy city. Rob & UK12s call him COBRA for how he EXPLODES with great power & speed to kill his prey (& also like those strong & fast agents of the Cobra movies) It's another 3rd great draft in a row for 12s with R1 Murphy & R2 pro bowl Big Cat & these following traders & IR redshirts of R4 age 22 QB (who had better TD INT stats after 17 games than J.Allen) Sam Howell & Red shirts ( IR or injury returners ) R2 Derek Hall ( who cud explode in yr 2 like Mafe did after an injury hobbled rookie yr) R4 Cam Young & IR R5 DL award winner Mike Morris The Fantastic 4 (Big Cat-Jarran-Cobra Murphy-M.Morris)(backed up by Dre & Young, etc), are really good Trench boys who will play very well this yr, giving a huge boost to the 12s D. Cobra Murphy is big big fan of LoB & his fave SB is Hawks win. Fave player is Mike Bennett. 12s are as happy as Florio who got a great QB in JJ. ( UK Maths profs just predicted JJ & Penix & Nix will be better than Caleb JD & Maye, a la what hapoened in QB draft of 1983), The 12s got a AD99/ Bennett hybrid 2.0, but Murphy is at v young age of 21, & it means BM2 will be better than Mike & win more SB's with Seahawks very soon. JS got worried about fautanu's knee health. Grubb knows TF very well, so we should trust them in rejecting big Troy. BIGGEST RUN WALL WILL BE BUILT. & NO Team WILL RUN on the 12s, just like the good old days of the LoB who were ranked the top D 4 seasons in a row, the only D to ever do that, & the only D to smash the GOAT O led by 50 TD's Manning. I think we're due a couple compensatory picks next year. That would lessen the blow of trading away a couple of our regular 2025 picks.

Cobra Murphy is big big fan of LoB & fave SB is Hawks win. Fave player is Mike Bennett. 12s prayers got answered, 12s got Bennett 2.0, but at v young age, 21, & means BM will be better than Mike & win more SB's with Seahawks very soon. They got worried about fautanu knee health. Grubb knows TF very well, so we should trust them rejecting big troy. BIGGEST RUN WALL WILL BE BUILT. He is so athletic for his size, I am shocked that he “fell” to us. I don’t even want to say fall because it makes it sound like something bad happened when in reality we were so fortunate to have that historic streak of offense players.

This was a great draft pick. There were only 3 players if they were still available did I want them to stay at #16 and not trade back for more picks….Dallas Turner, Troy Fauntanu or Byron Murphy. The draft just fell our way after a really odd half of the 1st Round. And to stay at #81 the next day and end up getting one of the best true Guards in the entire draft in Christian Haynes is pretty crazy. This draft has had such a weird run of position groups…

It was an impact player. I wonder if they couldn't find a trading partner. A nice pick for sure but trading down would have netted them picks to build a roster with tons of holes. Now you are going to try an improve a roster that isn't good in a lot of areas with late round picks. Yes, you can hit on late rounders, and they become HoF players or very good players. But... Too small for the nose. Jones plays one end and Williams the other. Where does he fit? Unless Jones this year continues to be a total waste of money like last year. Was this the biggest need. No even close. Give them a golf clap he was the best player on the board at 16. Even thou the OL from Washington would have been a better pick be a mile. Fits a huge need and was not that much different of a rated player. In a normal draft Murphy would have never been there at 16. Thank God teams over drafted all the QBs in the draft. I'll add grats to Penix on being an 8. But when does he play. Four years of insane money to a QB they just signed. Sitting for 3 years waiting his turn and now he's 27. Not a good pick at all for Atlanta. They could have drafted better or traded down I'm sure to add picks. Not a good pick at all. It would be as bad in Penix was 21. He's not old but 27 when he starts playing is getting old in the NFL.

GM's mistake and the HC last year was thinking 1 player Williams was going to make the defense better. You wasted 2 picks getting him. They sucked with him. They would have sucked without him. You then have your picks. Trading more future isn't smart when you don't have a lot of picks next year. It would cost a ton to get a 2nd rounder when you don't have one to give in the draft that's going on. Teams would be giving up players now for maybe players not as good next year. I could be wrong, but I don't see it happening. Again, Seattle is not 1 player away. They made that mistake last year trade for a 30-year-old player. And playing way too much to get him. That whole OL is nothing but ifs. The defense is nothing but ifs. Of the whole roster RB and WR are the only places where it's not full of ifs. That means you aren't 1 player away. You are 10 players and probably more. If the ifs don't work out. Teams don't win of ifs.

It usually takes a future #1 to get this year’s #2 if it’s high in the second. So yah, trading back into #2 is costly. Trading in for a second 3rd is more doable because next year we will get compensatory picks.

Trade back into the 2nd with no picks? Good luck. If they had a 2nd, you could more easily trade up. They don't. Giving up more draft capital you don't have to trade into the 2nd should get you fired as a GM. They made their bed drafting a DT. When I'm sure they could have traded down and gotten a number 2 and still probably had a 1 to trade back again getting another pick. That 1 should have gotten them 3 more picks.

You always talk about the dumbest stuff! Taking DeJean, wasting capital moving up,we got to many holes, do you not remember how bad we got beat down last year in games? We need 3 OL period. So moving up to draft less players is stupid just like drafting DeJean would of been dumb. The guy didn’t even get drafted in the 1st round and all you talked about was how great it would be for him to be a Hawk

We literally mentioned a couple of offensive linemen worth trading up for and both of us drafted guards on day two in our dueling mocks. Open your ears. Sorry, but if you're going to come at us calling us dumb instead of trying to use constructive criticism, we have every right to talk back. DeJean's name was only briefly mentioned as an example of a really good player who, if he kept falling, may be worth moving up for. Not bad logic at all. Teams have these discussions.
