You need to make the wooden part out of a branch crotch. The one you made will probably split where the woodgrain runs across the narrow leg. It's a cool design, but I'd hate to be shooting it when it splits.

very pretty. always thinking about what more can be done. you could wrap a bar that follows the left forearm upwards with a pin at the end to keep the rubber band taught, but not fully drawn. also a right arm ball dispenser, where you flex your hand inwards triggering a tube of balls drops a single ball in your palm. one of those tactical assault slingshots.

As a mechanic i have lots and lots of ball bearings in all sizes... And all my fellow knuckle buster buddies know i harvest steel balls and i always get them from multiple sources.. I sell lots of wheel bearing jobs due to the quality of them these days being absolute garbage but works out for me for ammo and cheedahhh

It is not compatible to weld a pin (made of st37 steel) with a 6013 welding wire to a ball bearing alloy. It will be cut or broken. Hazard!

Nothing that could possibly break off of that and hit him in the nose could break his nose. Cause a cut/abrasion or possibly put out an eye? Yes. A broken nose? Virtually impossible.

Nice idea but it could be done better: rubber band don't last very much fixed in such way, bond two bearing rings with glue and wood(especially with that grain) very bad idea. you need to control torque generate by pulling rubber band. Ok if rubber band is weak like that hemostatic band but not good with a stronger one.
