Completely agree Tom. PXG have really stepped up their driver game, the new GEN6 models are great too, unfortunately they were launched after we'd tested.

Glad to see it performed well. Sold my Ping G410 Plus, which I did like, purchased the 0211 and put 30 bucks in my pocket lol. Crazy cheap, looks like it’s gonna be easy to hit and it looks like a premium driver in person. The lack of adjustability on the head is nothing a little bit of lead tape won’t fix.

Nice to see the 0211 driver has an adjustable hisel at that price $199. What a deal.

@@billyunair It’s a steal. I’ve had it out at the range 4 times so far and I’m very happy with how it performs. Easier to hit than my previous G410 Plus.

@@jasonouellette6179 Nice to hear the 0211 works well. Great quality. I may pick one up in the future. I just bought a near perfect TM Sim for $100. Will game that for a while. My other driver is a 1997 Ti bubble 2. I had a Gen 4 PXG XF driver before. Loved it! Forgiving. Can't go wrong with the older Ping drivers too.

Thanks for the feedback Matthew, we couldn't agree more. Fitting is absolutely key to optimising performance. We've only ever seen this style of test/video as helping golfers narrow choice, so they don't need to go and hit 10 drivers themselves, which obviously is counter productive.

Yes 🙌. I was custom fit for my TSR2. After comparing it to my old gamer 2016 M2, standard Paradym & G430 max. TSR2 had the best sound/feel, smash and carry compared to them all.

Thanks for your feedback Richard. The Mizuno ST-Z and ST-X were both in the forgiving category, but there was a 9-yard carry distance gap between them, hence why we highlighted the X. The Cobra Aerojet Max is also in both the Forgiving and Draw categories (as it can suit both players), but unfortunately Cobra couldn't supply us with a standard Aerojet (not the LS or Max) in time for our test. Hope that helps explain.

Thanks for your feedback and input Cody. Probably worth remembering too that what we see as individuals doesn't represent what others always see. At the same 100 mph speed it's perfectly possible to see 25 yards of carry distance difference and 1200 RPM of spin differential thanks only to attack angle.

It is just my opinion. I'm not saying everyone should play a TSR3 or Paradym or any other driver. Beauty is always in the eye of the beholder. I'm simply saying in my fitting those 2 outperformed the other offerings, and in MY OPINION the TSR3 looks, feels, and sounds fantastic. If you like the look of turbulaters on the crown of your driver, by all means play the Ping. I think they are hideous and I don't believe I'm the only one. With performance being so close between all the major brands looks, sound, and feel will become more and more important to consumer's. It really all comes down to maximizing launch and spin conditions, then buy the one you will enjoy hitting.

The Dynapower is in there Kevin. It's the titanium head as Wilson couldn't get us a carbon crown sample for our test deadline.

Shorter and lack of ball speed? Look at the data at 17:02. Ping G430 Max has 161.4 ball speed and 275 yards carry. Stealth 2 is only 0.1 mph faster and 1 yard longer. Paradym is 0.3 mph slower and has the same carry distance as G430 Max. People also usually buy Ping G430 Max as a fairway finder.

I didn't mean the ping was outperformed in this video. I was saying in my fittings they usually lack ball speed, and average shorter distance for ME. This is one guy hitting unfit drivers a dozen or so times. That is hardly a comprehensive test. They don't mean it to be. They even say don't make your final decisions based on this video. They also say these numbers could flip on any given day. He hit the Ping well and maybe he should game it. That doesnt mean it will work best for you or me. Just like my TSR3 might not work best for you or him.

Sounds like you have some preconceived notions so shoot the messenger. If all review results were the same there would be no need but for one review. I look at a many reviews and try to coalesce them into my own mental summary. I may not have seen Ping G430 LST as the longest before, but it has consistently been long, and usually with a better balance of other qualities (such as forgiveness). As for Taylor Made, the review here was very favorable. But just to show how driver results can vary, no less than Rory McIlroy told his sponsor, TaylorMade, that he does not want to play the Stealth II driver anymore, and wants to go back to the prior model. I don't conclude that the Stealth II is bad, but for Rory it seems so.
