I carried an Esee Izula 2 for many years but upgraded to the Creely Mako in magnacut about 5 months ago, both carried in cross draw appendix carry for ez access while sitting. The Izula 2 is pretty bullet proof with a killer warranty and inexpensive enough so you won't cry if you lose it. It can do just about anything you need for daily carry. For anything else I have it's big brother's the Esee 4 and 6 in my truck and pack. The Mako was a huge upgrade. The handle looks a little weird but just melts into your hand, you can use it for hours without hand fatigue or hot spots. I've always loved 1095 for ease of use but have been very impressed with magnacut, very tough and surprisingly light. It takes a couple minutes longer to sharpen the first time but goes a very long time before even needing stropped. 5 months of regular use and besides the initial reprofiling (that wasn't really needed, I just wanted a mirror edge) I've only had to strop it once and that was after using if for things I shouldn't have been using it for. The Mako sheath is very nice for polite company but didn't fit my needs. I wanted to access it with either hand while sitting so I had a kydex sheath made with a Tek-Lok so I could carry horizontally on the front of my belt under a T shirt. I highly recommend the Mako for edc.

The handle weirded me out too at first but the ergos are incredible. Itsnis an awesome blade

Those are really great EDC knives. I like something a little bit bigger. Winkler Crusher Belt knife with rubber handles TOOR field 2.0 with a kydex sheath Have a great day

For something bigger I would go Chris Reeve Nyala or BRK North Country EDC

Hey Marco, new subscriber here. First, I'd like to thank you for the videos, I really like your style. But I'd like to recommend something... have you thougt about adding links in your description? Some brands are lesser known and it's not always easy to find them online so a link would be really help full for the knives you are talking about. Anyway, have a great one and keep up the good work!

Hey! Glad you like the videos. I will try to put links to some of the more obscure knives and how to get them. Thats a good idea. Also, if you ask me specifically, I would be glad to let you know where/how I got any knife

Yes, that Mako is hard to find. Check knifecenter, they have some every once in a while

I have the benchmade hidden canyon with the kydex shesth , it’s black and orange . and the mkm makro . Great choices for edc . A twosun 265 is in route

I carry the white river model one, the bradford model 3, the tactile knofe co dreadeye, and the protech sbr fixed blades.

@@KnivesoftheRoundTable I love it. I have it in a full flat grind in dlc coating with the blue and black handle. I also bought a deep carry leather pocket sheath for it. It's m390 steel also. It's great but it depends what you want it for. I use it for just edc purposes.

It will take me a bit. I do have a couple flashlights bit nowhere near enough to speak intelligently about them. I do enjoy them though, so one day.

I look for sheaths with holes on the spine side so I can attach an ulti clip and carry front horizontal . Front horizontal is the only way I can carry a fixed concealed and never know it’s there while sitting and bending down to pick crap up off the farm floor

Makes sense. I sit a lot so front carry is not comfortable.
