Love your stuff! Especially the Sounddesign Tutorials were very helpful. Could you make a tutorial about sampling and about how to make a remix of a song in logic pro?

Glad you find them useful! What would you like to learn about sampling? I don't have a lot of experience in remixes (yet), but I've been wanting to get more into them. If I'm able to put together something useful, I'll be sure to make a video on it! Also, I don't actually have Logic Pro - just Ableton Live. However, if you understand the concept in a video, it's pretty easy to repeat what you watch in any DAW. The only catch is that the stock plugins and instruments are laid out a little different.

Origin is great when used in parallel with clean digital drum loops to give them a more dirty feel.

Yes, very true! That's a great use for it. Thanks for pointing that out.

My big complaint with Origin is that most of its presets add a few dB of gain and it doesn't have a gain knob or autogain function. Everything sounds better when it's louder, but I hate plugins that mess up my gainstaging. When you run it in parallel I think you can get some weird phasing issues which you'd usually want to avoid. Can't really complain though, as it's free.

@@AutPen38 I use Bitwig so if I have any plugins that don't have gain compensation, I wrap them in a Chain container which gives me a gain & mix control. If I have any phase issues, there's a few plugins that can correct that, both free and paid.

A nice alternative (or indeed addition) to Supermassive is Delay by Integraudio/Sixth Sample. It has a similarly simple interface, some very good presets for tweaking, and a very useful ducking feature that's more controllable than the one in Baby Audio's delay plugin. Integraudio also does a free OTT "clone" that has some additional features like multiband saturation.

Damn autocorrect. The first plugin I mentioned is Deelay, with two Es.

Good stuff I was really needing a decent guitar plugin, Also appreciate your tutorials and approach to pads in Vital, Ive been struggling getting a lush pad sound. On your suggestion I also downloaded Valhalla massive. I wish I had used ages ago Another synth and a tad simpler and light on the cpu is Tal noisemaker.

Glad you found them useful! It's an impressive sound for a free acoustic guitar plugin, and Vital is great all around. The synth is powerful and easy to use, it has lots of great presets, and there's a ton of really good tutorials out there. Supermassive is amazing, especially for big, lush, ethereal sounds. And you can't beat the price. I also have TAL-NoiseMaker and thought about including it in the video, but haven't spent as much time on that one. I'll look into it more!

Rift feedback lite by minimal audio is pretty solid as a delay plugin. Also, recently I found out that if you time your delays well you can make very weird high pads from pluck-ish sounds by stacking 2-3 Valhalla supermassives. Really fun and unpredictable.

I believe it. That's a good idea! Valhalla supermassive is amazing for pads. Works well with transforming pianos too. I wonder how that would work with random staggered plucks (I show one trick for doing that in my "strummed harp" video). I should give that a try...
