It’s a headset that you can use for everything the Nintendo switch your Pc The PlayStation 5 Apple and android devices. Not to mention the comfort is incredible and you don’t look special walking around outside wearing these. The sound is incredible!

Just got them in the mail yesterday, and unboxed them with my wife this morning, finished setting them up and testing the microphone between my console & my wife's console. And I can definitely tell anyone who is looking at purchasing these headphones and those that are skeptical of purchasing them due the high price point: They are absolutely 100% worth the money. However, I'm going to be honest these headphones are ridiculously expensive (yet again completely worth it).They did cost $620.28 CAD after taxes included, Which is equivalent to $503.19 USD. Which is not an affordable price point for the average consumer (in my opinion). But if you're looking for a pair of headset/headphones that are absolutely top of the line with the best possible audio quality, these are definitely for you.

@@IxWIZARDRYxI I'm very glad I was able to help. I personally own a lot of headset. Any where from the brands of Turtle Beach to Astro to Microsoft based headsets. And so far out of all the headsets that I have used. This is by far one of the most luxurious and best sounding headsets I have ever owned.

The company has been in business for 95 years so I’m sure they know what they’re doing when it comes to headphones $500 is nothing compared to the other B&O headphones some of them go for as much as $800 this particular pair can work with the Nintendo switch the PlayStation 5 Xbox series X/S all your Apple and android products also PC. In my opinion $500 isn’t that bad for a product I can use with multiple devices and not look like A dork walking around with some overly done communicating device with RGB lights and big microphone sticking off of it as I’m moving around town.

I got a pair at the weekend they are great the sound is beautiful, with the app you can change the sound to suit what your listening to on the fly and yeah they pair with my phone,phone rings tap the headphone cup to answer it’s quality stuff 😊 pricey yea but if you can afford to treat yourself then why not B&O are brilliant like you said I’ve also seen headsets over 1000 pound so….

But I can’t play both Xbox wireless audio and BT audio at the same time… which is kind of a thing for some folks. Something that can be done on a pair of $150 Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 2s… along with other headsets. Hell, I believe the $99 Xbox Brand Wireless Headsets have this feature as well. Unfortunately they appear to be frequently out of stock.

Because I’ve had the artist 9X twice and I had to get rid of them because they continuously dropped I also had the Xbox new wireless headset and I experience drops with that one as well however the B & O headset has worked flawlessly not one drop and the sound quality is amazing not to mention the comfort that you receive from the expensive but nice B&O

@@block-du9md I rarely get disconnects. The main problem I had was some very light static sound and the volume would go up and down very slightly without me doing anything but that was fixed with a firmware update.

The audio is quality... But can drop out which is hopeless for the price.. The wireless connection isn't great compared to razer or xbox wireless... And the mic isn't great either.. This headset definitely isn't worth the price if you intend to use it for xbox alone..

A console gaming headset usually doesn't cost as much or more than the console itself. You could get Astros a40's or 50's and an Xbox Series S for around the same price.

This is actually cheap for a pair of BEO headphones. These are prob a competitor for Apple AirMax, but offer more. Anyone buying this just for XBox is prob wasting their money. You should buy these if you want a high end pair of headphones in general, but also have an XBox. These are not really gaming headphones. They are high end headphones that happen to connect to XBox. And considering people drop 300 on Arctis, which they wouldn’t use for other entertainment, it’s not that bad. It is pricey though at first glance.

Portal issues Sound quality is great but i have encountered many issues. I would like to include the issues I'm experiencing because I have watched alot of reviews and these issues have either not been brought up or experienced. • Audio cuts in and out on xbox and P.C. (Worst on P.C.) • Sound cuts out if pushed to max on headset (Not if adjusted on app) • No noise gate setting • Tested mic and voice sounds far away • Tested mic and background noise is very noticeable. Bottom presses can be heard on the controller • Voice/game volume mixer does not work on P.C. • Settings do not save when headset is turned or or after switching modes • Audio cue needs to be louder when voice/game mixer is maxed or in the middle • Volume cues would be nice at 1/2 and max volume. • No command to end calm only answer • No command for next/previous song.

I have the Beoplay HX and some of the issues are shared with the Portal (i.e. audio cues volume is too low and doesn't get higher when you raise the volume of the music, so when you're above 30-40% of volume, you stop hearing the audio cues). Please DO bombard B&O demanding to fix these issues, they're unacceptable for headphones costing $500.

You can't even use bluetooth on your phone and the headset as a gaming headset at the same time lol. My Arctis 9X does that lol.

@@II_Th3oRy_II you know you can get Spotify and Amazon music on the Xbox and play music and games simultaneously you also can download the discord app on the Xbox and chat and play at the same time through discord so the only real reason you would need Bluetooth would be to talk on the phone while you’re playing the game but most people don’t do that. The reason the Bluetooth doesn’t work simultaneously is so you can have a steady connection and very low latency two very important features.

I am currently using the Sennheiser GSP 600 with my Xbox Series X, but I would love to replace my GPS 600 with the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal Gaming Headset for many reasons. The Bang & Olufsen Beoplay Portal Gaming Headset blows the Sennheiser GSP 600 out of the water when it comes to features, comfort and easy it is to switch from one device to the next. Honestly, I was thinking about buying the EPOS H3, but now that I have done my research on the Bose gaming headset and the H3, I will pass on both and go for the Bang & Olufsen gaming headset instead. Overall, the Bang & Olufsen gaming headset looks more way more premium to me, and I love how B&O used high quality materials on these. I really love how intuitive this video is! Job well done! You have earned another subscriber. Seriously, I cannot wait to purchase this and wait for it to arrive in the mail. 👍🏻

I love steelseries, but sold my arctis 7x and bought xbox official wireless and honestly not missed them. Them purchased Audeze Penrose X this week, .....ohh wow, These are the Real Deal, Sound is on another level. Got a good deal from Scan uk £249 and are honestly a bargain, Best tech purchase ive made for a few year. Coupled with Xbox series X, wireless Sound is insane. They sound like a high end monitor speaker, Bass is fast and tight, clarity and detail with big dynamics. Very loud without distorting. Music on iphone 11 pro max via bluetooth, again Top level stuff. This is the most i would spend on a gaming headset, but its value when comparing againt these at £500. Anyone interested in a set, fling Tom @scanproaudio a message after watching there youtube video review “cutting the chord” there is a link for possible discounts. And he sent me a £249 link to their site. Very happy at half the price of these, and read another user on twitter who owns both. Saying penrose go far louder and i can confirm, you turn these up loud and start grinning 😁👍 Arctis 7x once EQ’d are a very good headset and very comfortable and for around £140 decent option, same for the xbox wireless official, once you’ve dialled 80% of the bass they punch above their weight and will do most people for an affordable option with a great sound.

The reason why you cannot use Bluetooth while you are gaming is so that you can have a steady reliable connection to the Xbox with very low latency. I’ve had quite a few Head sets that just would not stay connected such as the artist 9X i’ve had two pairs of those The Xbox wireless headset was decent but it also dropped but the B&O have been really reliable no issues yet but I’ve only had them for a month and I game just about every day

I went for the Audeze Penrose X for my series X and I couldn't be happier with those. I was waiting on these to be released but not a chance I'll be getting them now as heard there are a few issues, and for that price point, no excuses!

Same here😉 the only downside to penrose is that they are not very comfy while wearing glasses, which i do. Solution is change earpads to Dekoni one's. Will go for it definitely. That aside - magestic headphones. Planar magnets are magic🥰 that low frequency bass is SOMETHING. When the wind blows in-game and you FEEL it blowing in your ear - can't get enough of that))

@@siredmunddorrance4350 i tried all - sonic, dts surround and Atmos - atmos is the most balanced in my opinion. So i bought it after all. Just don't mess the EQ - choose custom and leave everything as is. Works for me, at least😉 good luck👍 Write your feedback🤗

I’ve seen all the reviews I truly don’t think those people took the time to go through the settings and fine-tune them to their liking it took me a while to get them to where I wanted them to be but once I did there is no comparison in my opinion. I’ve come to figure out most people just review stuff for the views and don’t really spend much time with the products they are reviewing if you can pump videos out left and right that’s more currency for the producer

Anyone buying these specifically as a gaming headset is an idiot. These are cheap for BEO’s. And priced inline with Apple AirMax, which are lower quality and do not connect to anything else. They are for people who want a pair of high end headphones first, and happen to have an XBox and the connection might push these as the choice. Considering people drop 300 on Arctis that they use only for gaming, it’s not that bad if you think about it. But yah not for everyone.

I want a more comfortable pair of headphones to replace my sony 1000xm4's that im selling, and I need a good xbox headset because I currently dont have one. You can see how $500 makes sense for someone now instead of paying $300 for a good noise cancelling pair and $350 for an Arctis Pro? Do you value the good meal you eat at a restaurant based on how many McDoubles its price is equivalent to? I’ve had the two in my home for sometime now and I’m here to say there is no comparison The comfort The sound steady connection Low latency all won me over I don’t even turn the Xbox wireless headsets on i’m considering selling them because the B&O blow them out of the water in my opinion. If you haven’t tried them you should give them a go and compare the two
