Quick question for resetting newly built PC's, do you factory rest the pc to get your account off of the pc or is there another way? I didn't want to remove any of the additional programs that I have downloaded and not sure how to remove the account you use to sign in to make it factory reset while keeping all of the downloaded programs?

Well no. If you think about, a factory reset means that everything from the PC is erased and Windows is reinstalled to factory default, which means no programs that you installed. Otherwise, it wouldn't be a factory reset. If you're going to give the PC away or sell it, I suggest making another user account, log into that one, and then delete your original account you don't want anymore.

you got a matx mbd and an atx case for the $1000 build. couldve gotten the montech air 100 matx again and prolly would have been down to 1000 flat.

R5 7500f is the best option up untill r7 7700, as it is basically the same as 7600 and 7600x, well, aside frop not having an igpu

You can get whit 20bucks fr its worth but if you are using stock clocks then no problem using stock cooler but oc its worth the 20buck

Cable kits are cosmetic changes, everything should come with cables you can use if the parts are compatible, thermal paste you maybe need to buy depending on if there's pre applied thermal paste on the cpu cooler you'll use.

@@Hk_Hunter_AK well a new gpu would be an easy upgrade since your parts are compatible with a higher end model. But then we would most likely look at an CPU bottleneck. also buying an additional 2 sticks of dual channel ram (same as you already got) would be a quick way to gain some performance (especially in ram intensive applications). I dont know about the socket, but if it's the same as the newer AMD swap the cpu /gpu for newer models and add a stick of ram. The PSU is plenty for most new models of GPU anyway. If your system doesnt run of a SSD (NVME or Sata) this would also greatly improve loading and boot-up times and it's a quick / cheap upgrade

For the 1080p you could go 12600k or 12600kf which is cheaper than the 13400 and performs better

Do you think I should upgrade to 4090 + 7800X3D now or wait for 5090 + 9800X3D? I have a 10700k + 1080ti and need to upgrade because I want to buy a 4k 240hz QD-OLED monitor. I upgrade my PC once every 4-7 years. I can't decide, so I'd appreciate any recommendations.

Bro spending $100 on an AIO for a CPU you can easily cool with a $35 Peerless Assassin. If it's about the looks that's fine, but let people know they can save over $60.

AMD still outdoing Nvidia in terms of value. In Canada, the 4070 SUPER is $150-200 more than the 7800xt while only being roughly 5% faster with no RT. Pretty wild

Just something I put together at PCPartpicker which is a good place for you to start. It comes in at about $1640USD and leaves a bit of room for cable extensions, more or better storage, additional RGB fans, a bigger or better case, etc: CPU: Ryzen 5 7600X Mobo: ASUS B650E-F Gaming RAM: GSkill Flare X5 32 GB DDR5-6000 CL30 COOLER: Noctua NH-D15 Chromax Black STORAGE: 1TB Samsung 980 and 500GB Crucial P3, both m.2 GPU: Gigabyte Windforce 4070 Super PSU: Corsair RM750(e) CASE: Fractal Pop Air RGB You’ll need a good 1440p monitor, which I haven’t included. And I’m assuming you have a keyboard and mouse you can use with the new build.

@@Zag8166 yup, I stand by my recommendations, including the cooler. The 7600X runs hot like all the 7000 chips like to. The NH-D15 cools it really well; I know because I have used the same processor and cooler for over a year now.

@@Teh_Monk The D15 is a great cooler, of course it does really well. But there's plenty of $35 to $50 coolers that also do really well. The AM5 chips do run hot, but that's because they're designed to do so. The 7600X is not a difficult chip to provide adequate cooling for, especially in gaming workloads. If you're absolutely dead set on lowering the temperature as much as you can on the chip there's still no reason to waste $120 on the D15. There are coolers by Thermalright that match the D15 for a fraction of the cost. Even beat it if you aren't using the Noctua AM5 offsets that are sold separately. Of course a 240 cools it even better still, and a 360 beyond that.. It's just throwing money into something with no real performance gain, money that could go towards other parts.

Can i ask you why you are picking allways 5600x over 5600 ? Difference is so little that for price it's nonsense to go with 5600x and this extra 20 - 30 dollars you can push into GPU and you are like from rx 7600 tier somewhere around rx 6700 xt and you have much better performance just saying

the bottleneck is more than 10% the cpu is too weak, instead go for a rx 6750 xt or 4060 with a ryzen 5 7600x or non x same price soo much better balance and performance including 0 bottleneck.

The RX 7700 XT should not currently be purchased, at all, by anyone. It's widely hailed as one of the most horribly priced video cards in history. The "in history" comes from dude from Gamers Nexus, but I completely agree with him. I don't even think the card should be mentioned. I mean I love AMD, I would not be into PC gaming if not for AMD, but it has to go down as one of the worst decisions the company has made in recent years.

bro i swear im not hating but i have a 1500 dollar pc thats way better than urs.starting with a 7800x3d, Deepcool LS720 SE 360mm, Gigabyte B650 EAGLE with wifi,G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB 32 GB,Crucial P5 Plus 1 TB,,a 7800xt, and if u wanna say he got a 7900xt the 7800xt will be better as it has a cpu that can fully utilize its performance but the ryen 5 7600x he got will bottlenech his gpu and in cpu intensive games 7800x3d plus 7800xt will be better,fractal design pop xl air that has 4 pre installed fans which is way better than his that has 0 fans,and the psu is Deepcool PM850D 850 W which will allow for future upgrades.

Your build sounds great! You focussed more on the CPU, I focussed more on the GPU. There isn’t necessarily one better approach; it’s just different. This video is just intended to be the way I would do it.

AMD drivers are still garbage. Had AMDs in all my PCs and still crash constantly. Switch to NVIDIA and no issues.

I think you should've stuck to keeping the builds within budget WITHOUT the deals and discounts. Also, being a whole $25-$75 over is too much. At what point do we just throw the budget out and just "wing it." I love your videos but this one seems a little careless.

So the discounts, which are applied automatically, should be excluded? I would always recommend someone goes 20, 30 or even 40 dollars over budget if it means a much better performing build. Sorry if you felt it was a bit careless. We’ll take this on board for next time.

The vast vast vast vast vast majority of my videos are systems I built, and pretty much all the parts I featured here we’ve tested in house. The video is just meant to be something different, that shows my rationalise more closely about how I pick parts. I guess it won’t be for everyone which is fine. Sorry if it wasn’t for you.
