Ingredients:
1) 1 1/2 Kg. short beef ribs
2) 1/2 cup soy sauce
3) 1/4 cup cooking wine (optional) coke or sprite
4) 1/4 cup honey or 1/4 cup brown sugar
5) 6 clove of fresh garlic
6) 1 piece asian pear or bosh pear
7) 1 medium onion
8) 1 tbsp. chopped fresh ginger
9) 2 stalk of spring onion
10) 1 tbsp. sesame oil
11) 1 tbsp. sesame seed
12) 1 tsp black ground black pepper

Do you have a way of using this recipe in a slow cooker? is that advised? Or it's better to BBQ/Broil it.

Ok so I always make your recipe and it always comes out amazing but today I messed up.. I forgot to peak my pears.. Would that mess up my marinade??

Sure, you can do this with regular beef ribs as well. You can use the high position on your oven. Just open door a little bit. Make sure to keep an eye on it so that the meat will not burn. Please note that every oven is different so broiling times may differ.

I just made this it was tasty. I used pork short ribs because the beef was way to expensive.

Can u do this wish regular beef ribs? And when broiling, my oven says Lo and Hi, which one should i use?

correction. Fats are very good for your health! just make sure the meat is organic and grass fed.

I'm korean. Things you should do to add some stuffs. 1. Use kiwi(make beef softly - if you don't have kiwi, you can use coke. I recommend coke instead of kiwi. It's not joking. It's very important point.) *.Don't put kiwi too much.It makes a beef too softly. 2. Put beefs on the cold water for 1hour(can be remove a stanch by reducing blood) 3. Put chopped green onions on sauce(looks good and make better taste) How to make a really really good taste, actually you have to proceed more steps however, it's too long to explain and little complex...so i pass and you can find some recipe on internet :) The most important things're 1-3steps haha

Kathy Duarte Normally the beef ribs are soaked in cold water for about 1hr to remove the blood. The marinade absorbs much better this way; also many ppl add cola to the marinade for added sweetness. I'm pretty sure one of those is the "critical step" that was left out. 😉

adding coca cola to the marinade is critical imo. it makes a world of difference.
