Yes! Please review the Ordinary lash and brow serum. Although, the way you talked about it in this video I don’t feel too promising about it. Could you also consider doing a video on brow growth? I over plucked them all my teen years and now it is so slow to grow them back! I love your channel💕 When I tell people something that I learned from your channel I say, “Well, my dermatologist says…”😂 Thank you for all of your great information! Because of you I wear sunscreen everyday!🤗

Used it & I noticed a small growth, nothing like the ones with prostaglandin analog. Heard Reviv is good (lots of peptides n no prostaglandin). Great price and generous amount. I think I already see a few lashes suddenly grew longer in just 5 days no joke! So I’m excited to see results by the end of 8 weeks!

There are a couple of ophthamology channels that have recommended lash serums that don't contain prostaglandins like Dr. Rupa Wong and Vibe Optometry. Dr. Jenny Liu has recent one on lash serum products as well. Twenty/Twenty is a lash serum that was developed by an ophthalmologist. Reviv Lash Serum and Dr. Sister Skincare (UK) also don't have prostaglandins. For castor oil, Grande Lash has their thickening mascara.

I keep a travel size baby shampoo in my shower and use that to really deep clean my lashes. It removes everything, doesn't cause irritation and seems gentle. Many many people who work with young children will tell you this practice is what helps get rid of and keep them from getting pink eye from their little friends who bring it to school, daycare, preschool etc. I do agree that an oil cleanser really has helped my lashes get longer and fuller.

@@Karen-tr8jo I worked in the health room of an elementary school for 22 years and nothing prevents lice except for not being around anyone who has them and nothing gets rid of them except shampoo made with the insecticide that kills them. Even then it's about a month of nit picking and repeating treatment with shampoo. Infestations in school children are usually much much worse due to people telling the parents that things like baby shampoo or mayonnaise will get rid of or prevent the problem.

I had extremely dry eyes my whole life. I was told I had meibomian gland dysfunction. I found a new optometrist who was able to treat it. She gently squeezed the blocked glands at the base of each lash and my dry eye problems dramatically improved. I wish I'd known about it years sooner. Maybe that will help you too?

R.N. here. You might ask your provider if you have Sjögren's Disease, which is another cause of severely dry eyes and mouth, but it's something you normally would see an ophthalmologist or EENT (or both?) for treatment. It's pretty miserable. 😫

Aww gee, I have given each of my remaining eyelashes their own name. I don't think mine are dropping out as fast the doctor is saying. I use Rogaine foam on my eyebrows, and it has helped them come back a little, and although I don't put Rogaine near my eyes, I think it must have reached my lashes by osmosis, because my lashed have thickened back up a little, too. Not a lot, just enough that I don't cry when I look in the mirror.

Brazilian here. We use a lot of natural products, plant based. Also, castor oil to help to grow more hair. I don't know about studies in Brazil, by our scientists. It can be more common in USA than years before, but not in Brazil. We were always attached to old knowledge. And yes, it helps to grow hair wherever on the body you wanted. In case of lashes, what some brands have and some eyebrows/lashes profissionals have, is a sérum that contains castor oil, along with others, to help the growth. In my case, I'm about to buy one to tick my eyebrows, but I always forgot! 😅 It's usually 1 month using, and you stop because many people are satisfied after 1 month. We also have a thing called "the bomb shampoo", that takes a little of castor oil with another ingredient (it's a A vitamin, liquid, super concentrated). It has the right proportion to be put on the shampoo bottle. And my hair grew 4 or 5cm in 1 and half month with this.

Castor oil seems to be really pushed lately in the beauty world much like coconut oil was years ago. I tried castor oil on my scalp back in 2016 to try and help with hair growth since I was going thru female pattern baldness issues and it caused severe dandruff. When I went to the Derm they told me that it was a fungal infection caused from the castor oil. Apparently castor oil feeds the natural yeast on your skin and can cause an overgrowth. So please everyone be careful with castor oil.

Grande lash has prostaglandins. Google eye photos of prostaglandin use. Holy cow! It really ages your eyes, even if you aren’t allergic!

They have an active class action lawsuit against them for not disclosing the prostaglandins in their eyelash serum.

Can you recommend an oil-based cleanser that would be gentle to remove eye makeup?

Castor Oil 😂 I remember the old movies of kids being spoon given it. A few years back all the rage was marula oil, rose hip seed oil, almond oil, the list goes on and on.

Dr Dray, I used Latisse with great success but then got bronchial pneumonia and didn’t use it for about three weeks. I felt like my lashes thinned again while I was sick. I started using the treatment again a couple months ago but don’t feel like I’m getting the same results. My question is this, is Latisse one of those meds that does not work well if you stop using it and go back to it later?

Do you thinks cleanser with glycolic and lactic could cause lash fall out when used on the eyes?

My dad has tricotylomania, and he has damaged his scalp to the extend of there being a big round patch of scab in the back of his head. Apart from the supplement, which my dad would probably never go get a prescription for, do you have any suggestions on how to care for the damaged part of his scalp?

For the last issues she discussed on stress related lash pulling, I suggest hypnotherapy from a licensed psychologist. I didn't believe in hypnotherapy until I had no other choice. It was the best $40 I have ever spent in my life!

Hi Dr. Dray one thing I found about using castor oil for lashes is that it can be VERY irritating if it gets inside your eye. So…you need to be careful applying on eye lashes. Thanks for doing this video.

I developed a very stubborn stye that wasn't reduced by compresses. Eventually my ophthalmologist lanced it. I think dry eye mitigated it and I found krill oil tablets from the drug store reduced my dry eyes quickly. I think crayon-type eyeliner pencils started the stye. Also, powder eyeshadow seemed to exacerbate the pain of the style.

I used a lash serum and it burned my eyes. Immediately washed it off. I started putting caster oil around eyelid and lashes, and my lashes loved it. They did started growing and getting longer. I don't do it everyday, however, just a couple times a week.
