Love the icon, I also did the light mod. Where you switch the light around. Works better for me. I have over $1000 in lights. Mechanic full time

I have hesitated also for the ICON led lights but looks like you took the plunge. The 800 Lumen looks interesting option for me. thanks for the review

Quick question about charging the ICON 800 Lumen folding worklight -- the only USB-C wall charger/adapter I own is the one for my Motorola Moto G cellphone, which is rated at 5V 2A. Since the worklight's input rating per the owner's manual is 5V 1A (1000 mA), is it okay to use my 2A charger, or will doing so damage the worklight's circuitry/battery? I don't mind buying a 5V 1A charger if necessary.

Hello it shouldn't be an issue using a 2A charger for the light. If you use a smaller one it will take longer to charge but at 2A is ok. Thanks

Can these be fully re-charged by plugging the USB C cable in to a 12volt socket in my car?

hello do you mean the cigarettes' lighter? If this is what you mean yes all you need is the small adaptor from 12v to usb and then you can plug in your usb c cable to it. Here is a link you can use to get one. Hope this helps thanks amzn.to/40zNXvv or to the battery amzn.to/3oHyigv

Hello thats a great question I have been using these 2 lights and love them. They are very powerful and versatile. I do hope they keep making products for Harbor Freight since the quality is there. I am looking into purchasing more ICON tools for review. Thanks

No removable battery is a fail.

It can be so I would get the extended warranty on them just in case. I did have the 2000 die on me so it got replaced. They should have a removable battery for sure.

I know I love flash lights they are addictive. I just got the 900 lumens from Harbor freight and its ok and inexpensive. Also got the Milwaukee one 1000 lumens and its a game changer. After I got that they just released a 2000 lumen one...Geee its never ending
