Nice review, very informative and detailed. I own a pair of the Bare steel magpins as well and approximately 8 pair of the Oak Club 2 Mag Pins. I think I prefer the Oak Club Pins just because they are easier to remove, however the Bare Steel are definitely beefier. I also have approximately 4 pair each of the stubby and micro stacked weight pins (Bare Steel) which I use all the time on my Ares Functional Trainer and my FTS Latpull down machine when I want to increase the weight slightly. I really like them even more than the original Gym Pin from the UK which I own 2. I also have 2 of the Selector Pins from Bare Steel, they are really nice looking and work great. I basically ditched all my original selector pins and ugly red hitch pins that come when you buy a Power Rack or attachments. I noticed you have a nice collection of Mag Pins as well? I do not have the Fringe magpins or anything from Surplass Strength, maybe I will check them out not that I need anymore Magpins but as you know with us Home Gym owners we have an addiction for buying things that we don't necessarily need! (which my wife will never understand). LOL

I own 4 Oak club 1" magpins and 12 Fringe Sport and I like the Fringe better even though they're a little shorter in length. I think Fringe is coming out with longer pins soon to make them more useable with a wider variety of attatchments. Oak Club is too pricey and takes three times longer to ship. Oh, the fringe pins will just barely stack next to each other in the PR-5000v2 rack that I have for storing them on the rack...

Are your Oak club ones Mag pin 2 or Mag pin 3s? All fair points. Yeah if fringe ones are as good as they say they should be a real contender as long as the price doesn’t double or triple. Sometimes they come out with something and then he price goes up. Also heard they made add additional color options like blue, purples etc.

I use the Bare Steel mag pins for my Rogue 2.0 monolift arms. It would be hard for me to rely on any others given the potential consequence of them popping off on a re-rack. Maybe except for the Fringe ones with rhino pins. But I hear they may be too short.

Yeah these are definitely the strongest and longest ones i have seen in all steel . Some others have plastic,3d printed, or aluminum endcap / handles. Most pins out there are under 5ins also but fringe says that are adding longer ones but that’s a ways away. There are definitely trades off of each brand

@@carps_gym Good point. There are surely trade-offs throughout the brands and types as you point out in the video. That’s why I use the Bare Steel pins as permanent solutions. They are a pain to remove (and they take the powder coat off the monolifts. I’ll have to keep watching your future videos to see which ones to get next and for what!

@@Josh_TXGarageStrength yeah thanks for the feedback I have had that happen too. I’ll make sure to mention it and try to shout you out in the recap all pins video. It’s coming eventually
