Hello Liah, I was wondering your opinion on the ingredient cyclomethicone or cyclopentasiloxane since it's a sort of controversial in terms of being detrimental to marine life [but for the life of me I can't find the actual studies that were conducted that indicated that]

honestly I think that sunscreen prices are getting out of control. 30 something dollars for a 1 oz? The fact that you have to reapply sunscreen every 2 hours you'll be done with that bottle in about 2 weeks or less. I work in healthcare and right now I'm outside for 12 hours straight swapping people for Corona and I'm having to reapply my sunscreen every 2 hours or more depending on how much I sweat. That's a lot of money on sunscreen. I think that these companies need to be ashamed for how expensive some of these things are.... Just my opinion though...

One good sunscreen that averages for 16.99 but you can get cheaper depending where you live is the Bare Republic Mineral body Sunscreen. It’s a good sunscreen from target they have the same formula for the same price just in a smaller bottle for the face but I recommend getting the body one cause it’s the same formula and same price.

I feel you! I don't even dark, i'm medium brown with oily, dehydrated, sensitive and acne prone skin. I feel like every sunscreen that i've tried tends to give me breakout. And the whitecast is a big no no! It makes me look ashy. I'm still finding my soulmate sunscreen.....

Girl, I’ve been watching your videos for 2+ years. You’ve had the best clean skincare advice on this platform. A while ago you talked about making some skin care product and I saw maybe one in a video and I didn’t think about it. Like a year goes by, my skin is freaking out, it’s 2020 and theres a skin care craze taking over the US and a new wave of skincare creators all hyping up products. I was doing my research on said products, making sure they are clean as per you, and I saw these brands that are consistently popping up on social media and are the best of the best. I’m clicking and reading and end up on Krave beauty website thinking, these products ARE good. I continue to click and your face is on this website. AND LIKE ITS YOUR FRIGGGIN BRAND!!. Like WTF 1. Why didn’t you tell me and 2. I don’t know how this got by me but it did. So like congrats!!!!

@@halimab7395 I think I'll just use the Purito on my body instead of my face. I bought the Colorscience Sunforgattable SPF 50. It's a bit more expensive but it seems worth it. Also I got a refund for my Purito sunscreen after Purito announced that we can get refunds. You can get one too if you bought it after June 1st. Just message the store you bought it from and they will refund you.

I just came across your channel and it's so informative i love it. I work as a nurse and now I know why doctors prefer calmoseptine cream for burns and just about any kind of breaks in the skin because it contains zinc oxide and lessens the appearance of dark scars. this is literally a eureka moment for me! thanks sooo much😁😁😁

This is so important because it looks so different on dark skin. I live in Korea and often times the store clerk will swatch items on her own hand to show me and I wonder if it's because she knows it'll look different on me and wants to make a sale (these arent even tourist areas cause I'm not a tourist). Not just sunscreen but other products like eyeshadow, lip products, etc. I made this mistake once and bought a sunscreen after the clerk convinced me it has no white cast. I wore it the next day and literally looked like a clown lol.

I just wanted to pop in and say that as a black woman I love the Purito Comfy Water Sun Block in the warmer months. In the colder months I haven't tried it yet but I really want to try the All Good sunscreen!

You just came the right time i was looking for a new mineral sunscreen one. Thank you for all the recommendation! Liah, what your thoughts about alumina? I read from some sources it is a mineral sunscreen pigment too. You can find it in Itsskin Tropical Sunstick Mangosteen

Thanks for the info! Very helpful. Have you been able to try the Kinship self reflect sunscreen? I just got it and am enjoying it (I have not tried it with makeup though)
