Moving to Virginia Beach? Living in Virginia Beach and researching in-demand neighborhoods and great school districts? Looking for relatively affordable Virginia Beach real estate, too? Kempsville might be perfect for you!
There are so many great neighborhoods in Kempsville and combine that with awesome school districts, convenient access to most areas in Hampton Roads, it's hard to top what Kempsville has to offer. Not to mention, the real estate is AMAZING!
(I could be partial, since I grew up in Kempsville).
In the video we will go into real estate prices, styles, and neighborhoods. Also the history of Kempsville, as well as school districts, restaurants, shopping, aaaand...
I talk about the new Indian River Road/Kempsville Road intersection project that is quite an interesting addition!
(I also tell you my favorite restaurant in Kempsville, of course).

Thanks for saying that, Angela! The maps are often difficult to add because they take up a lot of time. But I do hope that they give better context to everyone researching the area. I know it would help me if I had specialized maps as a reference.

Love this video! I grew up in Kempsville and you nailed the info... especially the school system. The schools in the Kempsville area are amazing. Oh... and Pulcinella! Yessss. Such great Italian food!

Love me some kempsville! Great video! If it weren't for all the great restaurants at kemps river I would avoid the intersection of indian river and kempsville at all costs.

Sam great job, Kempsville is a great neighborhood, I lived in Charlestown Woods and went to Brandon middle and Salem High. There is a Pollards Chicken there and a great Filipino Bakery Gloria's Bakery home of the best pepperonni bread on the planet. Charlestown Woods was build in the late 70s by the way. Here is a bit of trivia for your channel How did Witchduck Rd or the area in general get it's name and Salem, Mass was not the only place to have witches

adam perkins oh my goodness! Yeah, my family would always go to that Shoney’s when my dad’s brother would visit from DC. We’d always go on a Saturday morning, probably between the late ‘80’s until near the time it closed.

Lived in the heart of Kempsville many years ago and despite being suburban it was easy to get around on foot/bicycle for a 14 year old kid. Didn't need a car to get to school, church, the rec center(I heard they were building a new one?). I assume it's the same now?

They did build a new one! Finished not too long ago, it's probably the best in the city now! Replaced the original one in the same location.

Kempsville is nice. But, it doesn't hold a candle to Kings Grant / Little neck or Great Neck Alanton. Safer, better schools and better resale values.
