My name is Eric and I travel with my cats, “Tara” & “Opie” in a 24ft 2002 Ford Bigfoot Class C and tow either a 2014 lifted Smart Car named “Tater Tot” or my 2012 Harley Softail Slim named “Black Betty” in a 6x10 trailer. We travel about 35 miles a day chasing 70 degrees year-round since 2010.

Careful with these mattresses in an rv. They sell a little air flow mat to put underneath them so moisture doesn’t sit under it and mold. That happened to me twice before I had the mat.

How long does it take before you became aware of mold the second time? I can understand being caught off guard the first time mold appears, which is why I’m asking about the second time.

@@bigredgreg1 the first time was with the one that came with the rv. I figured it was the cheap mattress that came with . The second one I had a protector on it and a dehumidifier . The mold grew inside the protector that was “mold resistant” on the mattress underneath. I did my research and got the pad and it hasn’t happened since in 4 years.

we bought a similar mattress for our travel trailer and it was so fun to unroll it but like you did, we had it turned the wrong way and turned it around, lol. yours was super tall. im glad you like it.

Agree with Eric you need to get a good night's sleep. I did some changes to the layout of our travel trailer so we could have a residential Queen-sized bed in ours we bought a Sealy same comfort level as our King-sized bed at home. We had trouble getting it in, but we sleep really well. Plus, I am over 6 feet so a short queen my feet always hung over the short queen.

I’m so sad for your one flat little pillow! 😂 Time to up your bedding game Eric… that also makes a huge difference! If you’re a side sleeper, I’d suggest a thick squared off memory foam pillow that will hold your head up higher and help with shoulder pain!

Just got a new mattress for my camper. First time ever I bought a new mattress just for the RV. I made sure it had pillow or euro top and inner springs and I am in heaven. Memory foam doesn’t work for me. Tried it twice now. Not to mention if you camp in extreme cold memory foam gets hard as a brick when cold. Any who.

Sucks for me, my Bounder 35R mattress slides under the wardrobe when the slide is in so I barely have 8" space for the last foot of the bed. However, my 8" version Brooklyn Bedding mattress is being delivered today.... oops... nope not yet, that was the UPS driver, FedEx has the mattress.

Hello, NF, i just have to comment in the Nascar Cup Series Race at Darlington on Mothers day. I just wanted to point out my team: RFK Racing, finally, finally, got Ford a win. I commented 2 U in the past RFK was doing the best with the Fords and i was right. Coupled with Buescher's near win last week, they're on the ascension. Lookout! Minor note: Josh Berry finished 3rd, 2 spots ahead of Byron. I was suprised. Maybe he's got game after all. I think i've backed the right guys. Anyway, good luck with your guy Byron.
