@@jorgejiminez-rk1uu I'm talking about whats pretty clear on the video evidence. Cammer cut in front of the Bronco driver, who was clearly advancing and within their own lane. This isn't a debate it's a fact. However wrong the Bronco driver may be for everything else thereafter you cannot ignore the cammers actions either

@@jorgejiminez-rk1uu I see what you're saying, but cammer still clearly cut her off as she was going at a much higher speed than he was when he entered the lane. You can even see her swerve as soon as he gets in front of her to avoid hitting him. He easily could have let her pass by before merging into the lane; that lane goes on for a long time. Again, zero defense to her behavior after that; but what happened happened, and the cammer should make a habit of checking his side mirrors before merging.

It amazes me that the traffic police in the USA will ignore 10 or even 15MpH speeding, whereas on this side of the world you'll get "pinged" for going around 5-10KMpH over the limit (which would be around 3-7MpH). And with cruise control now being almost universal in all cars, there's little to no excuse for inadvertent speeding.

@@melkiorwiseman5234it honestly depends where you’re driving. The highway is more relaxed with the speed especially if there aren’t a lot of cars on it because there isn’t much of a danger, but when there is a lot of traffic and you’re speeding the police really do watch for speeding cars. Overall though I will say more people on the highway get pulled over for other infractions rather than speeding more often.

@@melkiorwiseman5234 It depends on where you are. The US does not have a single police force over the entire country like many you're referring to. Instead state and local ordinances will vary and so will the department policies on how to enforce them. I grew up in a town that was know to not allow speeding of any kind because of the high foot traffic on sidewalks 1ft off the road, so it made sense to be strict, but other places don't have the same risks of speeding.

In my state #2 would have been perfectly legal. When on a multilane road, it's only the traffic moving in the same direction as the bus that is required to stop.

I think a lot of states it’s legal. In California the rule is: you have to stop, unless the road is divided by a median, or has at least two lanes of travel in each direction.

Just remember to pay close attention to your driving and surroundings, obey the posted speed limits, always drive at least ten miles BELOW the speed limit on rain slicked roads, and never tailgate and you'll be fine 🙂

@@sirmojo4537 .... if "Always drive at least ten miles BELOW the speed limit on rain-slicked roads" is your advice.... I call into question the quality of your tires my good sir. I've been driving for 21 years in a variety of different class of vehicles, seldom worrying about wet roads (puddles are a different story altogether), and have never had any issues. I'd say the BIGGER thing to tell people is if you're driving in the snow, and start going down a hill, DON'T slam on the brakes, or even apply a remotely strong amount of force on them. If you're rolling, you're rolling. If you slam on the brakes and start to slide.... letting off the brake pedal might not always stop the slide. SOOOO freakin annoying driving in the winter and you see someones brake lights light up as they start going down the hill. Just maintain a consistent, safe speed for the amount of snow on the ground, and don't do things that can compromise traction (aforementioned slamming of the brakes, turning the wheel too quick, etc...)

Early December of last year, I witnessed my first instance of Karma out in the road. My siblings and I were dropping our mom off to the airport since she was heading to Mexico with my dad. As we were heading home, we got stuck in some heavy traffic in the freeway, so some guy decides to drive on the shoulder to skip all the wait. 5 minutes later the traffic clears up and we see the same car pulled over by a state trooper. It was hilarious.

In my younger years I was a terrible lead foot, a blatant Mario Andretti wannabe, but cruise control has pretty much eliminated that! My state also, a school bus is not allowed to drop off a child that is forced to cross a four lane divided highway + this one actually had a designated turning lane. I thought that rule applied in all states but I guess not.

Being that happy during a “karma” or “deserved” traffic stop speaks volumes over the unhappiness of your life. Someone’s bad fortune whether deserved or not shouldn’t make a healthy human giddy. Half the time they don’t even move over to another lane as legally required when passing an emergency vehicle.

Love the speed trap comment for the motor cop on the freeway. Sitting and running radar is not a speed trap. Enforcing speed limit change in a spot where it’s not likely to see the change and adjust accordingly is a speed trap. Getting popped for hauling butt on an open highway is a result of stupid decisions

29 at 14:02 went through an amber and whilst there was probably enough time for them to stop, does it count as jumping a red light if you are across the stop line before the red light? (I'm British, not American, our ambers are much shorter!)

Looks like he made it in time, but perhaps in Wisconsin the rules are enforced differently. (I only drove into Wisconsin once.)

I’m from Wisconsin and it’s because our law states that drivers should stop at a yellow light, unless they are too close to stop safely. So since he had more than enough time to stop and didn’t that’s why he got pulled over. Which I actually had to google this because I thought it was as long as you had all the tires over the white line you were fine but you learn something new everyday!

In California you have to be sure you have enough time to clear the intersection before the red light appears, without unnecessarily speeding or changing lanes (each is an offence). A rule of thumb I use is as long as you're past halfway it's not too egregious, only because of the delay in the next set of traffic lights turning green. Best rule of thumb, however, is it's always better to be safe than sorry.

On # 2 not stopping for the school bus, This is what the law says in North Carolina, The driver of a vehicle traveling in the opposite direction from the school bus, upon any road, highway or city street that has been divided into two roadways, so constructed as to separate vehicular traffic between the two roadways by an intervening space (including a center lane for left turns if the roadway consists of at least four more lanes) or by a physical barrier, need not stop upon meeting and passing any school bus that has stopped in the roadway across the dividing space or physical barrier.

#2: In some states, you don't have to stop for a bus on a four lane road with a center turning lane when going the opposite direction. Only those on the same side. But I think in Tennessee, all must stop.
