Either old video or the cop is known for wrecking the patrol cars. Had a friend whose dad was a cop and wrecked the squad car 3 times in a month so they gave him a crown vic and said if he wrecked that, he'd have to use his own vehicle. 😆

I remember my Dad telling me of driving in Ocean City, MD, where there's a police car every other block sometimes. He shifted lanes without signaling. He got pulled over by one of the police officers, and talked his way out of it. He told the officer that he checked all his mirrors and there was no traffic in front of him and behind him so he just naturally slid over. The officer let him go without even a warning. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose.

To the author of this channel... cops pull cars over for a wide range of reasons not always apparent to other motorists and it's not always for speeding! If you're unsure of why the car is getting pulled over, just move on to the next clip and don't try to guess what the driver did!

In my State , 1st offense is $150 fine. Second one is $250. IF there's a third time ... your vehicle insurance jumps 2X what you already pay and the fine is whatever the judge wants to hit you with.

I'll never understand the clowns who when someone is moving into their lane would rather risk damage to their car than slow down. heck in one clip the dash cam driver started moving into an adjacent lane where there was a car already and doing the same thing they were complaining about.

@@MeepMeep88 Nope, there's stationary AND moving radar: Moving radar allows an officer to clock vehicles while driving on patrol. It can clock oncoming vehicles and if it has dual antennas, a departing car can also be clocked from behind, after it's passed the rolling cruiser.

That's company policy -- not a law. Also : those rental van drivers are usually the worst ones on the road. Most have never driven a truck before. Stay clear !

Whenever a cop sees a traffic infraction, the cop has to equal or exceed the same infraction just to catch up to the motorist. For instance, if a speeder is doing 25 over, the cop has to go even faster to catch up. If a motorist runs a red, the cop has to run the same red to issue a ticket.

@@therealrobinbullock The cop has an obligation to act safely, so will (should) proceed across the intersection with care. That's more than the offender ever did. Cops also have a legal exemption.
