Are Kranzle Pressure washers worth the price? To answer that quickly... yes they are. The build quality and performance from this electric pressure washer is hard to match and as a professional detailer, the Kranzle is a fantastic choice. But what about all of the people that treat detailing as more of a hobby or just enjoy cleaning their own vehicles? Is this a good option for you or are there better priced alternatives that will get you close to the performance of this Kranzle pressure washer at a fraction of the cost.... ENJOY!!!

i also purchased the 1122TST Ultimate package from Matt at OG about a month ago. I use the unit with my Simple Chuck D/I water system from CR Spotless. I have used the system for about 10 washes at this point (it's for personal use). I must say that Matt at OG put together a fantastic package. I didn't want to have to worry about getting a really good sprayer, extension arm, quick disconnects, attachment hoses, etc. Matt has already done the work to find the absolute highest quality components to mate with the 1122TST. Love this power sprayer. Perfect, safe PSI for car washing, and the GPM is fantastic. Gets a lot of water onto the car, but at the same time conserves the resin material in my D/I system. I am a big believer in buying something once and using it forever, so a Kranzle was a no-brainer purchase: universally accepted as the benchmark in the industry. The 1122TST is a great portable unit. Takes up a tiny footprint in my garage, and although weighing 80lbs, is so easy to roll out into position and back into the garage. They really thought through the design of this unit to be perfect for the residential user or mobile detailer. This is a great channel-keep up the good work!

Just to add some info about nozzle pressure, the gauges on the pump is correct, the pressure drop at the nozzle depends on the length and size of the hose plus the orifice size on the nozzle handle. The proper pressure that should be used on car paint is 900 to 1000psi as per obsessed garage. I use a 4.5 orifice nozzle , 45 degree spread. This is better not only for your pump and the amp draw but the paint as well. Doing a fabulous job!
@austinwilson6289
@austinwilson6289 Жыл бұрын
Small diameter hose/orifices have a lot of pressure loss so the discrepancy in pressures is not due to inaccurate gauges. If you shorten the hose you will get higher pressure at the nozzle and vise versa

I just purchased the Kranzle 1322TS Ultimate package from OG. I purchased it due to German Engineering & longevity. People were raving about Kranzle’s quality online. I’d rather spend more now than to replace a faulty unit in a year like some others are stating. I also got stainless steel couplers to avoid the quick connects from sticking. It came with a MTM 2.2 Foam Canon, wand, gun, spray heads & more. I have a dedicated 20 Amp outlet available. It’s heavy at 49 pounds. Just got it yesterday so Time will tell if it was worth it.

The pressure drop between machine gauge and handle gauge was explained and demonstrated in a polish KZfaq video. The culprit is the venturi pipe where the soap injector hose is attached on the K1122TST. On more professional/expensive Kranzle models the soap tank integration is totally different avoiding this issue altogether. A similar spec Kranzle pump to the K1122 without such a Venturi pipe only yielded a 5 bar/70 PSI loss over a 50" hose.

Most all big box unites and all those you mentioned are throw away machines. I appreciate that you made this clear. I have a hard time excepting the useful hours scenario as I've never had one make it to a manufacturer’s life ratings. My last two throw-a-way (AR Blue's) were terrible, both failed due to inferior AULUMINUM CASTINGS. First one the cast aluminum high pressure outlet "tube" cracked at the pump head. Second one, another aluminum casting failure, this time on electric motor mounts to transfer case and pump. None of these were parts repairable. Yes they could be tig welded, maybe. Bottom line for me, no more throw-a-ways, repairable/rebuildables going forward. Purchased Krinzle 1622ts because of its 15 amperage rating and portability. I'm seeing 1.8 gpm @ 900>950 psi @ end of pressure hose, and 11amps with 3.5 nozzle, or 1.5 gpm @ 1,100 psi, and 11.6 amps with 3.0 nozzle. Foam cannon with 1.25 mm oriface pulls 13.5 amps and puts out quality foam that slowly dwells off nicely. With this 15 amp rating I'm able to pretty much plug-in anywhere or to a small gen-set. I mounted the 1622ts on a small all terrain tired hand cart so I can easily transport and wheel most anywhere. Cart holds everything, pistol grip gun, short lance, inlet & outlet hoses, nozzels, extra quick connections, small hand tools.

I bought the AR when it was the OG's mid level but the specs were actually higher than the Kranzle. I bought his premium package with the hose and nozzle. The thing is heavy and not easy to carry around. I found a pro style pressure washer cart and mounted it to that. This thing is also a beast. It pulls slightly higher amps than the Kranzle so I put a dedicated 20amp outlet in the garage and bought a stupidly expensive 100ft extension cord that could carry 20amps without loss. The Kranzle is nice in the fact it's all self contained with the hose reel. Lugging the hose around and having to store it is a PITA.

It would be interesting to have information and quick tests with the input line pressure being at a low household (35psi) to a high one (60psi ? and within a device's safe range) since some of these are not rated for low pressure inputs.

Input is considered as a constant flow and gpm. You'll have to get creative if the available gpm starves the pump. It's almost impossible to have such low a low amount of input flow from any residential supply line.

My 2 cents on this is If your spending over $300 on a pressure washer? go with Kranzle or even the AR630 is a good alternative, for this particular machine 1122 not producing the right pressure/flow imho the 042 nozzle is too big, for 1400 psi i'd go with .028 nozzle or at the very least 3.0 nozzle size to get close or spot on 1400 psi. or you can adjust the unloader just don't go over 1600 psi which is the max pressure allowed. As you can see on your test when u decrease the size from 4.2 to 3.5 nozzle ur pressure increase at @1200 psi. The 1122 also is louder and higher amperage than the other models because iirc the motor runs more than the usual 1400 rpm that Kranzle produce for home diy'er users. If own such unit i would throttle down the unloader so not to tax and give the motor longevity than usual. I own a few kranzle's and other brands but stuck with Kranzle for their simplicity and KranzleUSA and even Germany support which i didnt get from other brands....from wall mounted, cart mounted down to the simplest bare bone now discontinued i think Kranzle HD7 non Total Stop and id sell all of them except the HD7 which come to think of it is my go to machine, it's quiet and very handy u can put it almost anywhere and as far as serviceability? HD7 takes the cake overall. Whatever machine you finally decide on i'd say spend the extra money and go for all Stainless fittings/ quick connects and invest on extra rubber seals unless you want to be servicing your unit more than using it. Lastly maintenance is key if you want to enjoy and get the most out of these machines, just go over the machine twice or 3 times a year and it'll out live you lol! Hope this helps.

Looking forward to getting the. Kranzle 1322TS about $1122 ? If you have not yet , can you make a video all your daily used equipment that you consider the best of the best ? So if the Kranzle is your daily use put that as the pressure washer you use and there was only one you can choose , which one would it be . Thanks bro “

great video . until i get my own garage i won't get a premium unit. but when if i did i wouldn't get the Kranzle, for the money. ...id much prefer an industrial electric washer like the Northstar 1571101 or 1102. with adjustable variable psi 1500 to 2000psi @1.5 to 2.5 gpm stock so with a 3.0 4.0 nozzle. easily get 1200 psi at well over 2 gpm. but can also crank it up for tougher driveway jobs. very versatile. if I'm paying 1500 $ I better be able to do more than just rinse my car down. so until then I'm spending my 250 for the Active VE 52. or the new 2.0

@timkinley1779 Жыл бұрын
Those numbers are for advertising. There is math formulas that calculate the amps required to pressurize water at a given gpm/psi. Pumps paired with an available input energy source has limits. There is no fairy dust to sprinkle on a unit to make it exceed standards. It's math. More input energy equals more output.
@stephenlouden480
@stephenlouden480 Жыл бұрын
@Tim kinley those numbers are coming from someone I know who has a Northstar electric unit and tools me to get it over the Kranzle because the Kranzle doesn't like to be messed around with our it'll start acting up. it's a servicable unit he had to change the oil and can swap pumps out. he gets 1200 psi at 2.2 gpm and can adjust the unloaded valve to increase decrease pressure. the unit cost him just under 1k$ is built onto a cart with wheels. there are real electric pressure washers that professionals use everyday that are just as good as a Kranzle for the same price as one or cheaper.

@José Yepez Absolutely not true. Kränzle actually recommends it on this and the HD 7/122 TS which is essentially the same machine. Just because it says Kränzle on the tin, does it not automatically mean that you need a 1.25 or 1.4. Here in Europe they actually offer s special set of small nozzles for these machines. I run the HD 12/130 which is a 3 GPM machine and that likes the 1.25, but will run with a 1.1 and not like a 1.4. These have a relatively low GPH and that's what really determines your nozzle size.

The hose itself loses efficiency (pressure), dependent on its length and inside diameter. A very similar thing happens with extension cords, dependent on its length and gauge, they lose volts
@n00baTr00pa
@n00baTr00pa Жыл бұрын
The reason the gauge at the wand is reading lower is because you lose pressure along the length of the hose due to restrictions. I bet if you used a shorter house and the largest least restrictive fittings you can, you'd have higher pressure at the wand. Both gauges are working normally.
@imjoshv
@imjoshv Жыл бұрын
I’ve tested that before on machines with no gauge there and I’ve had the same psi. I’ve also tested the psi between a 20’ hose and a 100’ hose and there was no noticeable difference. I agree with what you’re saying and that makes sense to me too, but from what I’ve tested in the past it hasn’t had a measurable difference
@n00baTr00pa
@n00baTr00pa Жыл бұрын
@@imjoshv sorry, I might actually be slightly mistaken. What I meant was, the gauge pressure at the wand is more likely influenced by the fitting at the end of the wand. If I am understanding correctly, the gauge on the machine should be representative of the pressure at the pump, rather than the true pressure exiting the machine. Essentially my theory is that the tip orifice should have negligible impact on the machine gauge. It is in my understanding that both are working correctly, but give different readings as they are in different locations. I agree that the gauge at the wand should be representative of the actual pressure of the cleaning water.

Josh could you please make a video for us just starting our Mobile Detailing Business about what avenues you feel are best for marketing. I have a Website and have run SEO on pretty much every page i could. So far I'm using Instagram and Smart ads on Google. I've been in business for 4 weeks and have had 9 customers. I know it takes leg work to like flyers, cards and visiting car Shows. But im running out of ideas. I know i have to be patient to since I'm just up and coming, but help would be greatly appreciated on this topic and sure many others who are stuck in this would love to learn too. I am registered to view the upcoming Wilson Auto meeting

Hey Chris, the thing that really took me to the next level and got me busy was building the Google page and reviews to get on the top 3 of the map results. Along with that I built out a couple sites that all have different key words to drive work coming in from different areas. I will use the name of the city and car detailing or auto detailing and other key words. I’m in San Diego and I started off targeting San Diego as the area but there were so many competitors doing the same thing I had a hard time getting traction. So I started marketing to specific areas in San Diego: pacific beach car detailing, La Jolla car detailing, etc… that way you have a better chance of ranking organically on search results!
