This sandwich is from Florence. It really is amazing. They had a location in Rome that was less of a wait. Focaccia was made fresh right across the street.

Went to Rome with my big bro about a month ago and we tried this, they were AMAZING, cheap and they fill them to the brim every single time, we had to get another one a few days later before we left Rome, highly recommend.

I ate it a couple of months ago, it wasn’t as good as they made it sound. My sister has one with like baby porc on something in it and it was a bit too sweet for a sandwich. The one with like smoke beef charcuterie was Okk, the best I tried

I went to the location in NYC last year. Waited 45 minutes for my sandwich. Honestly, I would have waited four times as long. It was genuinely one of the best things I've ever eaten.

That bread is called "Schiacciata" (read "Skee-atch-yata"), it's among the most famous breads in Italy (right alongside Altamura's bread, Pinsa Romana and Focaccia), and honestly it deserves way more praise than it gets

@@zakialiberty8226it's called L'Antico Vinaio, but it's not a restaurant, as there is no seating (or little to none). We call them "paninari" (literally makers of sandwiches), and it's sort of like a McDonald's drive through, apart from the fact that you can't drive in the city center. You get your food and enjoy it on benches outside etc. There are 2 (if I recall correctly) sandwich shops in Florence, and others scattered in the rest of Italy

That place was so good 🤤. We stayed right across from it and there was a pizza place across the street that cooked their pizza in like 3 mins. It is in Florence Italy.

Everyone in Tuscany loves all'antico vinaio. Me and my family alwaysorder from them when we have friends over for dinner. It is perfectly crunchy and salted, and the condoments are always perfect. As quick as fast food but as good as a restaurant.

I been to the one in Florence and Milan for the past 12 years when I take my family for our annual private yacht cruise in the Mediterranean! I have also been to the one in Time Square when I am in NYC for a corporate meeting! They are all good!

Go there in the spring (March -early June) and lines won't be long. Me and my friend stumbled upon it and just thought it was a local popular place. Shit was so fire omg, but you go to Italian grocery store and you can recreate it basically. I wouldn't travel just for this sandwich but when I'm in Florence again ill definitely be going back

They now have some of these restaurants in the US…three are in New York City, one is in LA and one just from what I understand, recently opened up in Las Vegas…Close to the Durango casino and IKEA
