Which star (torx) bit brand is best? Let’s find out! Milwaukee, Dewalt, Makita, Wera, Wiha, Irwin, Bosch, MasterForce, Bauer, Hercules, and Ryobi. Each star bit drives in and then remove s100 screws into pressure treated 4x4s. New and used torx bits tested for failure load torque as well as wear resistance. I've never accepted a sponsorship or even a promotional item from manufacturers in order to provide the most unbiased test reviews possible. I buy all of the products and test supplies with the help of Patreon support. Hope you enjoy the video!

The best parts of these videos is when you list off a tremendous amount of work and effort nonchalantly as if it's just a simple step when making a cake. I definitely use PF (and other channels) as a guide if I'm interested in something to purchase and tests have been conducted on it. Even then, sometimes its not necessarily about getting the best of the best of side item but how you invest your money for said item. There has been times I've bought last place items due to the one time factor of use. Other times, it has been the overall winner cause I need the longevity of the item to last. So it doesn't matter if its the first or worst placed item. In the end, this man (and others) have put in the time and effort for us to use their tests as guidance, and that is something I am grateful for. Thanks PF for all that you do. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Yesterday I was going to work with another project, but I didn't had any torx bits, so I said "hmm, probably Project Farm has a video about it", and surprise surprise, it's just been uploaded!! @@thfmadmax He has used nm and other SI units in other videos. I'm not quite sure why he chooses SI in some places but not others. For example usually he measures weight in grammes. As a European I'd far prefer he always used metric but I can understand how big his NA audience must be and that he himself has greater familiarity with imperial.

@@tedundercarriage8183 I think too, and this coming from a former marketing professional, that we Americans tend to automatically associate Made in Japan or Made In Germany with high quality. Thus we generally don't think twice about paying a premium for tools or other goods made in said countries.
