Now you have had the Ubers for a few months, what do you think of them compared to the previous covers. Do the Ubers still look good, have you had any issues ? I’m ordering some covers and I’ve read all sorts of horror stories, from creaking, to falling off.

Thanks Steve, I did a road trip and uploaded the video for some real world efficiency data. But otherwise, I can’t really fault them. No creaks etc like you’ve mentioned. Not even scuffed them yet! Not fading or unclipping from the alloy. I would still recommend even after this time 👍

Terrific video, Adam! I think it’s pretty impressive that my 2021SR+ came with TWO wheel options, at no extra cost. I did try the aero covers for a month or so, then pulled them off - night and day! The aero covers are still on the shelf in my garage. Even going on my 5,500 mile trip across the US last year, I left those at home. The alloy wheels make me smile every time I walk up to the car. Thanks for the info on the other options! Very useful.

how's it holding up so far? Did it ever come lose while driving? I am thinking about getting it but not sure if it will fall off while driving.

Hi, not at all. Never even had one come loose from one of the clips! I tend to check every time I wash the car, but they grip so firmly to the alloy that has never been a concern. I must have been using wheel covers for almost two years now to! Hope that helps 👍

Hi, in regards to adding these wheel caps do you have to buy the correct cap to match the current wheel? Or do these caps fit onto any 18" model 3 wheel? Thanks.

They have to match the model of your car and wheel size. Noting the new refreshed model 3 will need a different wheel cover. I just did a new video around this and maybe of interest 👍

So I don't have an a Tesla yet .. I just test drove one last week for the first time so I'm looking into at least a 2021 used one with like 30,000 Miles ... Model 3 long range... If they don't have the standard wheel covers at the Tesla's come with you can buy those thru Tesla or aftermarket? And you're saying even those covers cause your regular rims underneath to get damaged?

Nah, are all the clips firmly around the spokes? I didn’t put the insulation tape around the diameter of the wheel either. Did you do that?

@@AdamWellinformed mine came with the tape installed and they stuck out a lot. To the point where it really bothered me. I removed the tape and they still stick out, not as bad as before but not very flush with the tire. I love the look of the design though
