My favourite moisturizer is the COSRX Hydrium Moisture Power Enriched Cream. I don't know if I'd call it thick but it is very moisturizing for my extremely dry skin. I do mix it with an oil in the colder months and always use some type of sleeping pack year round at night though.

Thank you for this very timely video! Winter is in full force here in Fargo and I've had to switch to winter moisturizers already. At some points of the year, I apply it at bedtime, when I get up in the middle of the night to use the bathroom and again when I get up. I also tend to apply to my hands and elbows at the same time. I'm focusing on remembering my neck and upper chest this winter - they end up blasted by the winter winds, too.

One thing I love to do with Illiyoon is buy the giant tub that’s like 16oz for around $25 and use that as a base for my hand cream I use all the time. My own favourites are Real Barrier Extreme Cream , Sioris Deep in a Barrier Cream & Illiyoon Ceramide Ato Concentrate Cream . Recently I tried Nivea Cream & got totally hooked . It’s texture & fragrant is over 80% similar to Creme de la Mer which I unfortunately love . When you rubbed between palms it turns miraculously from thick cream to a watery consistent . That body butter has come in and taken OVER for me. I just stopped buying others because it’s the best of the best for me! Do you have a favorite scent? It’s such a great ingredient for skincare, but regulations had to go and make it hard for brands to use it 😭😭

Ooh love this idea! Yeah it’s been about a year since I did one of those Short answer: depends on if you like scent. If yes, Kopari’s body creams (note: a little goes a verrrrry long way or the scent and texture can be too much). If no, the pyunkang yul intensive ceramide lotion. It’s so underrated imo, and same as with cerave cream, can be used on body or face. Unlike cerave, way easier to buff into the skin!

Help for dry skin is my favorite topic 😅😂 I finally got the Illyoon and love it! My other favorite is the Avene XeraCalm balm! I found that a few years ago after a chemical burn and it’s been one of my favorites ever since! I’m not good at math so I don’t know the price per ounce but the bottle is also enormous so one tube will last me almost a year. I've not tried the Kopari or the Illyoon. I am putting them on my list for 2023. I have and use the others regularly; they are all great. My favorite is probably the Sioris and my reason is that when my skin barrier is bad, (especially around my nose and mouth when I'm ill?), and other non-actives are nonetheless stinging, the Sioris is NEVER. I am in a month-long Peach & Lily brand trial so tried the Macha moisturizer and the new peptides moisturizer. I think I like them both? The peptides moisturizer is lighter. But also my pre-sick breakout happened the week I switched to it so I backed off. Too many complicating factors to know if it works for me. 🤣🤣🤣

Yeah you’re right, the Sioris is an incredibly reliable moisturizer. I was SOOO glad I restocked it when I needed it most last week!! I like the cicaplast Baum for slugging and healing, but on its own it’s definitely not moisturizing enough for my dry skin. And I’ve read reviews about Sioris that it isn’t occlusive enough for winter🤷🏼‍♀️ I just ordered Round Lab’s dokdo cream and hoping for the best🤞🏻

The perk of living in asia, I actually can get that illiyoon cream 200ml around $10 or under. In fact, I got the 500ml version (the one in the tub) for slightly over $15. My wallet is so happy 😆

I got a sample of cover girl weightless water cream. I have never like a “water cream” as much as I did this one. But it was only a sample. I wonder if you have heard or used it I will be opening my kopari moisturizer today. I receive it in Fab Fit Fun (I believe) quite a few months ago I also bought Illyoon 2 months ago at your recommendation. Still hasn’t opened it. Had to stop my subscription boxes few months ago so that I can finally start using all the stuff I have and we can purchase what I want to, actually want to.

What I wish company's would stop doing is the empty can symbol with the months, and an expiration date. Because then your like when should I stop using it?!?! It just confuses things. Meaning I wish they would only put the expiration date and leave it at that.
@AliceintheRabbitHole
@AliceintheRabbitHole Жыл бұрын
Ah I can explain this one! So they mean different things. The expiration date is the date at which the ingredients may not perform optimally for UNopened products. Whereas the PAO symbol shows how long the formula will be stable once air/light is introduced. This is why you could have, say a serum, and it says it expires 4/2024 with a 6mo PAO. If I open it in January, I can expect it to perform optimally until 6/2023. But if I open it in January of 2024, i can expect it to perform optimally for only 4 months. Similarly to best by dates on food, it doesn’t always mean the product “expires”, but it does indicate what lab results have shown for maximum potency. Hopefully that helps!
@Skybutterfly21
