Played Stardew Valley on the bus home today. 10/10 would miss my stop again.

One tip for new players. Check the wagon in the forest south of the farm. You can often find items for bundles that normally do not appear until much later in the game (such as the sand fish, duck feather, etc).

on the first tip and i had already messed up lol i went and cleared everything cause i wanted it nice and clear

Although crops are the main source of income it's a good idea to put 1 or 2 of each crop away in case a future quest asks for it :-)

i bought and played this game at first like 2 months ago and was like wow this isnt very fun, but now that i know wtf to do this game is much more enjoyable

Df sounds like a friendly, harmless veteran gamer when he's doing a tutorial. But he sounds like total sociopath in those "experimental" type of videos

Pro tip: NEVER go into Jojo Mart. They are basically evil. They only require money which is boring and in the long run you get less rewards and feel a bit dead inside when you are done. There is a broken down building called the Community Center. If you take the time to repair it (which will require you to know how to get varying items and resources the game has to offer) you will be far more rewarded and feel better inside.

So I've been bingeing your marriage videos and my roommate who doesn't even play Stardew Valley LOVES your videos. xD Your responses to the characters (despite not having the option to tell them in game) are really entertaining and it's clear that you enjoy the game and like seeing what you can get away with. I'm only in year 2 so far but watching your videos gives me hope for the cool things I can do in the future. :)

When do crows come? I never see them unless I place no scarecrows. But if I place scarecrows they say they haven't encountered any crows yet.

Funny story During marching band, we play in the stands and during half time at all the football games. My band director tried to play snare for one of our stand tunes and failed miserably. I lost it immediately and couldn't control my laughter. I laughed so hard I started crying. I then started laughing because I started dying from laughing so much. THEN I laughed at the fact I was laughing at dying. Couldn't play my piccolo for a solid 10 mins cause I was laughing so hard. I'm having a great time just playing how I want. I've never played such a relaxing game other than the very first Harvest Moon, one of my faves of all time. Even Animal Crossing becomes a bit stressful for me with the whole real-time aspect of it. This game ticks off every single box and continues to unfold itself and get more complex. About halfway through my first summer and already excited for my second year with all I've already learned.

Sometimes your videos make me laugh, sometimes they make me cry, but always, they are enjoyable!

You know what I would like to see? A video about valuable crops and if you should keep some of them until next year and get seeds with a seed maker or buy them from Pierre. Especially Strawberries since you can only buy them during the egg festival. Is it more profitable to keep some and make seeds yourself so you can start growing them in the beginning of spring next year or just sell everything.

I have the switch game and I only have some minor​ complaints one being I can't place things on walls like the calendar, I hit y which is to place furniture and nothing I hit a which rotates the furniture and still nothing I can't even get things off the walls. The other complaint I have is the community center has some input problems with things needing more then three items a bundle, I can't move the cursor to read the name of an item I need, and I can't check on my inventory screen what I still need because again the cursor doesn't want to go that way. Out side that it's controls very well and I like that I can change what row in my inventory is in the open world using the L and R triggers, I would recommend this game and hope the fix the input problems.

Good pace for a beginner whose gotten to year 2 but likes to start a new farm using all the wisdom gotten from videos like these.
