Hey supa great video as always, would appreciate an updated one if you’re interested, I know it’s only been a week but considering the catalyst converter is unlocked and each week you get a new charge I feel like that changes a bit, but either way I’ll prolly just try to tune into stream and see what you end up doing. thx for the great video, mate regarding season 3 gear, is it better to keep, at least my 4 set bonuses from ilvl 489 pvp gear for classes that are dependant on the set (i.e. holy priests)? Or should I skip those bonuses and go full on pvp honor gear with higher ilvl? Thx in advance 😉

When you mentioned towards the end of the video by stacking the gear in such a way that by starting of week 2 you will be massively outgearing other players, I have to 100% agree to this. I'm normally a 2100 rated player. I very casually hit 2200+ by the 2nd week bc of the same strat last season, then casually played the rest of the season around 2000 - 2150 without much care.

Returning player.....I don't understand the use of the Draconic Trophies. What do I need to do to get a set piece....I too would like to get the helm (Holy Priest). Thanks

The draconic trophy's are used to go to the crafting station and craft pieces of gear. Generally both your rings and two of the worst statted main pieces. You do this to optimize your secondary stats as well as to get embellishments which are very good for player power. Look up a guide about your class to see which embellishments you should use. I quit week 3 season 3, i couldn't stand the MMR. I'm hoping coming back for Season 4 might be different, but i'm not convinced DK will be any good :D I got gladiator as boomy in BFA, i think i might try that again!

if u are a rog u can buy 1 bloody token Dagger since u will get max 1 glad dagger in the vault if u have a 2h weapon u should wait

My disc priest is 2 set with offhand and crafted boots already. I’m never going to depend on the vault to populate my toon, just to be let down

Most likely yes. The reason you want to prioritize upgrading your weapon is that it takes a huge portion of your basic stats (strength, agility, & intel), which dictates your baseline performance. That alone provides sufficient reason for you to take it. Also, even though your "mian stat" is not mastery, it still provides some value for most specs. So I would defiintely take it if the vault gives me a suboptimal weapon. In general, in the 5-8 weeks of the season your main goal is to put up as much purple item as possible. By the time you have come to a point that you need to consider optimizing your stats, the conquest cap would already be removed and you can easily get another weapon if you want.

I noticed when I logged in today that my character was 513 pvp with just my old gear. I only traded in my secondary gear (Bracers, trinkets, rings, etc.) and kept my old tier gear and got up to 515 pvp. Should I stay like this or is season 3 gear just non-functional in PvP now in season 4?

Battlefield blitz scales your gear, but if you go into arena your old season gear will be worse than honour gear.

I got trophy of strife shoulders and upgraded them at the catalyst. And it downgraded them to 463 and removed the pvp affix :[

Can get it from completing a heroic raid or achieving 2000 rating in M+. Can only get 1 per character, regardless of the method.

Not exactly. In BG Blitz the system will upscale your old 498 pvp items into 511, which is just 4 ilvl away from the latest honor gear. So old socketed and embellished conquest gears are better than new honor gear in BG Blitz. In arenas the new honor gear are way better, as you said.

Strength users and evokers with the legendary can save a huge amount of conquest by getting 2 bullions (new fated dinar) and upgrade the website to max level. Unfortunate that this game incentives waiting earlier in seasons due to vault rng. we also have to compete with the mop event. I am pretty worried about participation this season.

the numbers in season 4 are atrocious. top 5k players are hitting 20-40k games per day and the rating breakdown has the majority of those top 5k sitting around 1400. Friend and I queueing were getting nothing but top players, 2400 weapon enchants and shit. how is that fun for anyone? shit is dead and it sucks

Pvp Gearing system is a joke. 20$ of crafted + weekly rng slot machines. Oh yah you can also buy pve carries to complete tier faster. Cant play the intended game for months. What an embarassing dead game. Do yall hear anyone complaining after a few months when everything is uncapped? Gearing in a day for pvp is how it should be and whoever at blizz thinks locking tier to 0-4weeks should be fired
