This stuff is the best way I have found to clean and lubricate my padlocks. We live in a region where we experience high humidity, which often affects my locks. If temps are freezing then the moisture inside causes issues. Using Houdini has helped prevent moisture from entering my locks and freezing up.

A rusty master lock is probably more secure than a lubricated master lock

Good tips for applying - particularly the comment about inserting and turning key repeatedly to pull out inside dirt.

quick grab everything, all his stuff is unlocked! joking aside i thought you may open them up to service them but if it works it works. i'll try finding this stuff. pencil graphite didn't work now that it's getting colder.

I find it really helps, especially if you apply right before the weather changes to colder temperatures. Definitely beats taking a torch or a lighter to your locks to thaw them!
