I have a base model iPhone 11 will this be a good enough phone to edit insta 360 one x2 footage/ create a 10 min video from a few long clips and upload it to KZfaq, I don’t want to use loads of filters etc ? I don’t want to get a computer

Great tutorials ! Just subscribed . Some of these shots i can tell your camera placement others i cannot . Where do you normally place your camera ? In front of you at 45 degrees ? I know its not very critical considering the camera . Keep up the good work

The rule of thumb is to have one of the lenses facing the subject to avoid obvious stitch lines 🙂

Thanks for the great videos but I am so frustrated with the app, I cant even edit a video with out the camera angle moving, one section is fine, then on the other the camera rotates, it is so frustrating.

Try Lock Direction, and then it will stop rotating when you rotate

For me interesting to use insta app and other pics, video and also it is in ios because in android you should add all in internal folder and even in this thing not all can be used, and at iphone it is working very nice , and you didn't even must know where to fill files from another camera. And not even using external app:)

Nice work again! Quick question for you: is there any way to edit your files from the microsd in your x2 by just taking it out and inserted it into your android tablet? I don't want to transfer the files on the tablet and then edit them, just to do it straight on the card. The card shows up on my tablet but the insta360 app does not see them. Is there a work around to avoid the long downloads? Thank you again for your good work!

You can move the videos from your sd card to Insta360 app folder. That’s the only way the app will recognise the videos

@@Best360 thanks for getting back to me so fast! I am trying to move them but not over wifi if possible since it takes lots of time. I cannot find the location of the files downloaded in my phone/tablet so I can move the rest of them directly and not over wifi. Can you tell me where I can find those files, the folder location where I should move them in order for the app to see them? Thanks again

Shanil, what is the biggest “zoom” if you want to preserve the video quality and not ruin it with “digital zoom”? I noticed that when I “zoom” (change FoV to narrower angle) more the image becomes pixelated and blurry. My guess is that the crop is too large for the 1080 p image dimensions. Is it safe to use “narrow” or “linear” FoV or better to stick with wider FoV? Also, how come your videos can be exported to bigger size? If I click “custom export”, the largest image size is always just 1080 p whereas I noticed that you were able to export to 1440 p. I also use iP12 and record in 5.7k 30. Thank you for your answer!

I use linear as the most zoom. I never really use narrow. It’s strange that different people get different settings in custom settings. I don’t know why that’s happening 😅

It's pretty much impossible... You need to transfer the files to the Insta360 camera and then transfer to your phone.

1. Add music to video. Which sounds simple but stupidly hard on iOS. 2. More finer control in editing to “edit to the beat” 3. Add graphics, text etc 4. Add your own footage from camera roll

I use 256GB but I think you will be ok with 128GB for a day's worth of footage 👍

I still have basic problem with exporting edited file to iPhone SE. Edited file appears in iPhone insta360 app. Then I tried to export it save to iPhone insta360 video folder created there automatically, 12GB file becomes 30GB file! Obviously iPhone claims that it is too big file. What's going on?! I don't want to have social media exports, this is useless for me. This is absolutely far too complicated process and there is no solution, as far as product info or tutorials. Insta360 creates it's own type of huge file visible only after Bluetooth connection with camera. It seems that this file is virtual. Whats use if all camera and edit "quality" edit if I cannot export it.

Yes, for really big files you're better off with a desktop workflow rather than mobile workflow. There is no easy way to send over large files to the phone.

Ok, I’ll say decent video; good tutorial. I’m gonna try a few of these techniques myself. But couldn’t it have been said in 1 or 2 clips; and half the time? Very repetitive and same thing over. Basically fell asleep halfway through. That being said, seems very informative and helpful, ao ima try it out and I’ll see if these 25 minutes was worth it

I've been really disappointed in the low resolution you're limited to when exporting 360 videos from the Insta360 phone app. The desktop studio version is exponentially better in the quality of exported 360 videos, but it doesn't let you add music. They need a best-of-both-worlds version.
