Gold money all the rest is credit! The problem I have with this type of report is that they are putting bad light on gold because gold has been money for thousand of years and is the anti-dollar. Not to mention the "dirtiest gold" of all: Paper gold. Most of it is actually worthless, as the paper they sell is multiple times the actual physical gold available. The paper silver, too. (I'm looking at you J.P. Morgan, and GoldmanSucks). Also, any Citizen has the right to inspect/verify their country's holdings. Q. When was the last time a petitioner was ALLOWED to inspect Fort Knox Vaults? Uh-huh.... They once showed a doorframe full of gold and claimed it was the doorway to a very large vault that is FULL of the bars they could see, but nobody was allowed to look behind the single-layer façade. Wonder why?

I don't think they are doing anything wrong. It's not like they are growing and producing drugs. I don't see why they are making a big deal of this. The horrible working conditions and social issues in these countries isn't because of the gold. It is because of the state of their societies. Dollars are just paper and cloth. But gold is a forever thing. Likely the gold today has in some way been recycled so there no way you know which source it is truly from. Dollars are used in specific countries but gold doesn't change its monetary value no matter what the country it Is in. In a large enough transaction, gold is worth using. Yes I get your dirty money reference. Gold has been the standard of currency longer than any paper money.

This doesn't make gold dirty, just like how the abuse of money doesn't make money dirty. Its the wrong use of the precious metal than should be condemned. Ironically, this is exactly the same way our governments around the world run their countries, except they hate competition from small groups of people who come together to also benefit from nature's gift. Since you know what the current price of gold is you should be able to find out historic price too. Find the period when the price matched the one mentioned in the video and you most likely will have you answer. Unless you need someone to google that for you...

seems to me that once the gold is out of the ground and smelted to purity, that it does not matter who sells what to whom... it would just as silly as selling sand on the beach.

Talking about gold is one thing, but lets not forget the colbalt mines or the sulfur mining abuses. The problem isnt the companies that buy it, although they shouldnt. If they dont someone else will, its the countries that allow the abuses to continue. Peru, congo, etc etc

Switzerland produces 70% of hyper-refined (money grade) gold. The final purification step uses a lot of electricity -- to reach 99.95% or better purity. Fort Knox gold is usually 90% + silver -- melted down American gold coins. Old central bank gold ( 1950s) used to be 99.5% -- which is no longer the acceptable grade for central bankers. But there a LOT of bullion bars / scrap of lesser purity... and size. Gold was the original theological metal -- which is why every religion from the Aztecs, Incas, Romans, Greeks, Persians used it. When Elon Musk harvests asteroids, the world will be over flowing in gold. It's rare because the primal, molten Earth swallowed it up!

I hate that every person who confronts someone in this video they come at these guys being so mad that they end up talking over them and cutting them off and being rude to executives of these companies that truly wouldn’t know if this was going on or not, they don’t check invoices and check these types of things, they have people that do that for them, and of course there are issues there, but sitting there talking to them thinking your going to get some solid answers from them, or even thinking that they truly know what’s going on is just trying to push what they want without telling the actual truth.
