I've never mentioned it, but it's unreal just how TV quality Sonny's voice sounds in the narration. Really does sound (and look!) like it should be a professionally filmed TV series on a major network. Stunned every time, and even happier that he provides it to us for free on KZfaq.

I found this channel two days ago and I’ve been binging the content ever since. This guy Sonny is HILARIOUS. He’s such a great host and the way he describes the food is outstanding. @@graze105 Yeah Austin is like 95% blue but still Dallas & Houston are around 70% which is high for Texas. Give it another decade or two when all these corrupt corporate fossils pass away and Texas will become the Southern Colorado in terms of being chill but being blue or red it will be a hybrid.

In socal there’s a joint called “Craft by Smoke & Fire”. Im not sure if other states/regions have it too. Bomb ass food, I gotta say. Just had their “Macrib” which is a thick boi sandwich with bread on top, a layer of bone in brisket, bread in the middle, a layer of smashed burger patty with cheese, and the bottom bread. That’s definitely the highlight, but I also tried their smoked thick cut pastrami and nashville hot tenders. Strangely, the most “smoked” looking item in their restaurant is the lemonade which comes in a dark gray, almost black charcoal lemonade. The lemonade is quite unsettling.

This show is not genuine. You never hear them say that the food tastes bad. They will always at least pretend to have energy even if its been a long day/week of traveling. You will never see them unhappy, pessimistic or bored etc. Whenever they experience anything negative they pretend as though its positive. This show is all about presenting positivity and high energy that can resonate to the viewer. Because of this, most of the time negativity is hidden from the viewer weather it is genuine or not. Sonny has said more than once that "its about the story".

@@jevonmcpherson8054 That's very well put, it's actually a very elegant action if you ask me, because many a times they have their first taste of the dish infront of the maker or creator of the dish. So it's actually a very polished skill to not be rude or insulting towards the dish or the creator. That's shows great character. However, if you see a few episodes of Sonny in Saigon eating insects, you can see it on his face that he isn't pleased, and wouldn't try it again, but he manages to word it so gently that it's not offensive to the stakeholder. That's where the great showmanship and character factors in, and he's able to do this while being entertaining. So hats off to him and the entire team, for being humble, respectful, cheerful and entertaining.
