Would love to see you both react to her entire discography by listening to her albums (in order, starting with Born to Die, then Ultraviolence, and so forth) if you have the time to do so! If you lack the time, I think you could probably skip ahead to just Ultraviolence and Norman Fucking Rockwell as they are triumphs. Then maybe also react to her music videos after they appear on the albums. Her music is very much worth listening to and experiencing!

I love this reaction so muchhh, I think it’s bc I was the same too, with no words and in shock of the songs, especially with The Greatest when she starts talking about the real world, LA on fire, Kanye supporting Trump, wars, “Life on Mars”, and she knows that people don’t care that the world's dying by saying the last line “Oh, the live steam is almost on”, she knows that people nowadays just care to be on social media, she’s a freaking lyrical genius

A few people have suggested Shades of Cool, and I’d recommend that one too, in terms of songs. In terms of music videos, I recommend Ride.

Lana's full albums are like art pieces, they all have their own vibe. each song fits perfectly in each 'era' but if you don't do full album reactions i suggest her videos for any of her songs tbh but for sure West Coast, Freak, Shades of Cool or Ride or Video Games (she actually created this music video in imovie herself! its so beautiful)

We are just gonna start at the beginning and once we get thru the MVs of an album, we will prolly listen to the rest of the album, so we can grow with her.. I dont know if we will do album reactions though, they are tough on copyright... There are a bunch of MVs to check out worse case!

I think she really shows her Beach Boys Influence, when I first heard the entire album it seemed to fit right in with Dennis Wilson's "Pacific Ocean Blue" album and The Beach Boys " Pet Sounds" album....the first half of the song definitely references that " I miss the bar where the Beach Boys would go, Dennis's last stop before Kokomo"...Dennis hung out at a bar in Venice called Chez Jay's, and Drown before the Beach Boys recorded Kokomo....he was Definitely thought of as one of the Great Don Juan's of Rock n Roll..." The Greatest" muse for all the Beach Boys songs, he " got around" and had "Fun,Fun,Fun".

You guys need to get into her Paradise studio album. It's her second one under the name Lana and it's so moody and emersive with songs like Cola and Body Electric but also dreamy with songs like American and Bel Air. And Ride is on that album also...after that try the Ultraviolence album which I KNOW you are not ready for. Lol
