Joe Bonamassa is a legend. He is also an excellent singer. He was featured on TV when he was very young. He has grown into not only one of the best guitarists around but also a really good singer.
@kdbadk4 жыл бұрын
He's from my neck of the woods, and I saw him play in the lobby at intermission of a play at the little local play house when he was 12. He toured later that year with BB King.

A legend ? In New Jersey maybe. Is John Mayer a legend. Nope. You know his name, but he's not a legend. Same thing. Jimmy Page is a legend, Jimi Hendrix is a legend, Eric Clapton is a legend, Peter Townsend is a legend, SRV is a legend, BB is a legend. When people know you by your first name or initials, you're a legend. JFK, MLK, RFK, FDR in politics... SRV, BB in music...etc etc. Kobe, Lebron, MJ in sports...Say Etta...what's the first person you think of ? Legend ? Legend status is a high mark my friend. He's a good picker/singer...but legend ? Nope.That's a very high bar.

Ok now after watching the whole thing....She is arguably the best female blues singer walking the earth at the moment. This woman is incredible and yes the Guitar Guy is Joe Bonamassa. WHen these two get together watch out they are unstoppable. They have done a couple albums together. When I say they dont have a bad song together I aint lying. Everything they touch turns to gold. Both are amazing musicians. They did a whole album together remaking old Soul classics.....its incredible. They both have there own thing going but they often collab together as you can see they have great chemistry together. But if you want to see Beth truly shine check out that Live @ Paradiso. That paticular show is magical. Its her returning after 16 months away from touring and music to get clean and sober. She exercises her Demons at that show and its jaw dropping..... the entire show. You can find it on youtube just google it but Am I the One is the best from that set check it out. Beth Hart Am I the one Live at Paradiso.

I'm just recently into Joe and Beth, and I am totally hooked. They both have extensive catalogues. Joe was playing the blues at the age of 5. He has his own production company. He bypassed all the major producers. Beat the system. I think I heard he has produced 15 albums. Beth has an extensive background too. She was voted Best Female Blues Singer 3 times and every song I hear is a keeper. She sang I'd Rather Go Blind with Jeff Beck for Buddy Guy at the Kennedy Center Honors. Killed it. Check out Joe on I'll Play the Blues for you and my favorite of Beth's is Mama This One's for You. It's not one of her top songs but I have a huge soft spot for my Mama and it touches my heart. Have fun with these two. Together or on their own, they are dynamite.

This song was originally sung in 1959 by Bobby Bland. He was screwed over on the musical side because the main instrument used in his version sound like the back up alarm used in vans. For some good quality Beth Hart videos: Her version of Think when she was a contestant on Star Search (she won her season and it was the same season what would become Destiny's Child performed). Caught Out In The Rain (Royal Albert Hall) Am I The One (Live at Paradiso) Mama (Live at Paradiso) I'd Rather Go Blind (Kennedy Center Honors honoring Buddy Guy) Whole Lotta Love (at radio station OUI FM) You Belong To Me (for the TV station LE JT 8) War In My Mind (for the radio station SWR1)

Yes, her vibrato should be TRADEMARKED. The pairing of Joe and Beth was genius. They've played together a number of times and also recorded. Joe Banamassa was a guitar child prodigy.
