I love what you did to the new elevators at tremont ave. The area where the elevator goes to the street feels like a lobby. Y’all should put chairs there someday

Fantastic! Can’t wait for congestion pricing. Less traffic will hopefully improve bus times and clear up air pollution some.

It will make pollution worse in the South Bronx and other communities outside the zone. This will also just move traffic elsewhere. I an hoping the lawsuits get rid of this scam

Those Metro North trains are going to be packed af when congestion pricing is put in place.
@slasherfun

Are they? Each of these trains can move hundreds of people, while hundreds of cars need dozens of miles of streets just to be able to run... You don't realize of much more efficient trains are in cities.

@@quarlic That's already the case today: cars are the mode of transportation of the wealthiest, as cars are the most expensive mode of transportation (both for the drivers and for the taxpayers who have to fund the infrastructure used by car drivers since there is no toll on almost every street).

I’m sorry you’re not gonna help Staten Island that’s for sure. Do you wanna concerned about Manhattan? You’re gonna add more traffic to Long Island city in Astoria in certain parts of Brooklyn but that’s OK. The people want it.
@brooklynelite5428

This makes not one bit of sense. New York is already expensive now taking more money from people to support a transit system that could manage money when they got it, no make drivers pay for something the reason they own and drive cars. Who wants to be on a crowded bus or train. I'd rather take my chances and deal with traffic, at least it's my own personal space, not invading by disrespectful passengers. MTA, there's a better way to fund the MTA 1. Stop funding ferries except the SI Ferry. 2. Take money for these stupid idiotic taking up space bike lanes. 3. Crack down on fare beaters, make them pay I hope this money grab fails or some smart politicians put an end to this before it start. You should be ashamed MTA and the city of NY. The city has lost its soul and glamor now its run by cry babies who probably can't afford a car nor drive so try to ruin everyone else's driving pleasures.

@slasherfun Driver's pay enough to charge people who was born and raised here when we had none of this crap before when driving and parking was so simple now it's a hassle because of what. There are many other ways the fund transit not thos way.
@slasherfun
@slasherfun 3 ай бұрын
@@brooklynelite5428Well actually no, cars are the mode of transportation that receive the highest amount of subsidies, while requiring so much space that it will only take a few people in cars to completely congest a street.
@brooklynelite5428
@brooklynelite5428 3 ай бұрын
@slasherfun People are trying to take that away, and for what. Since I when did driving parking and owning a car became a problem. Leave things alone the way they was meaning parking free streets to drive on with the annoying can't turn here can't park here or can't drive down a street that you did for many years all because people want to Close to car traffic people are looney.
@slasherfun
@slasherfun 3 ай бұрын
@@brooklynelite5428If you want to do whatever you want with your car, do it in your alleyway. In public places, you'll have to share the space with others, and in dense cities, this means slow speeds and few parking spots. That's just maths: cars are so big that they gridlock themselves.
