im gonna guess that rocket mode cuts off as its just briefly using the peak rating for the pack. if it was kept on you run the risk of hitting thermal cut off limits of whichever cells they are using. As annoying as it is, thats quite a good safety feature.

Rear suspension is smooth and doesn't kick like conventional suspensions.

Looking forward to seeing them in stock so I can pick one up. With my size the sur ron was just a bit on the small side. This should be perfect!

I get that rocket mode lasting a few seconds is a precaution so the motor or battery doesn't get burnt out or the rider doesn't hurt themselves but i feel like they should've let it last a bit longer. Since they was able to program it to do that then i assume the curious and savvy person can undo that restriction.

Pretty cool to you realize the front forks/suspension is a meager little mountain bike setup.....first time you case that front-end you're going over the bars for sure....

If the seat and plastics were a bit lower down from the bars it'd be good to stunt but you could get smaller forks and get wider smaller tyres to build a freestyle street stunt bike build aswell

Get a used dirt bike on the marketplace And have a buddy that's a good welder weld a bracket for your 72v mid drive motor and the hardest part is done ✅ after that get a controller and battery based on what your needs are Also replacement parts will always be available. Always! If a ebike company shuts down. Good luck finding replacement parts( seriously 😂).But this is a nice bike plus side is it's an Apollo those parts will always be around ( Honda clone parts probably!) 😂

Controller and battery upgrade should allow permanent rocket mode. Battery probably cant keep up for extended periods of time.

The bike looks great and seems to rip, but when I hear it kills a SURRON it make me wonder. Surron is a brand name, so what Surron model is it being compared to? SURRON has the Light bee, Light bee X, Ultra bee and Storm bee on the market.

jack thanks for the video but what do you think of RFN quality wise because there regrlar motor dirt bikes a cheaply made. but can you get that to stay on rocket mode more than ten seconds. plus they are a bit pricey. I have the rawrr mantis and am happy with it super well made quality wise. what do you think of the RFN compared to the surron ultra bee ?? h How is the handling on the RFN ?? good video thoiugh informative im sure you have had alot more time to check it outt curious on the thoughts on the bike since this video.

I think this is def the future. And I'm a huge dirt bike guy. But I've ridden an electric bike. They are amazing. It's just longevity. What's funny is the could make an X version of electric bike. But the keep making them for crazy performance. If they designed a Bike to be electric, but more in the 225lb range rather than the 150-175 range. they would get the longevity that guys like myself are looking for. 3.5-4hrs. I would consider it then.

If you hacked the software and could keep it in rocket mode all the time you would have squat for range, it will eat up the battery reserves and likely overheat the motor and or controller... theres a reason why they limit it.. but sure looks fun!

Give me 450-600 power a traditional gear shifter at the left foot and a clutch and 5 speed... On a dirt bike frame and I'd want one.
