Betty demonstrates how to make Slow Cooker Turkey Legs. This is an entree that is very easy to make, and it tastes delicious!
Slow Cooker Turkey Legs
6 fresh turkey legs (7.5 pounds)
table salt, to taste
ground black pepper, if desired
Rinse turkey legs and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and pepper, as desired. Place seasoned turkey legs in slow cooker. Cover with lid. Cook on HIGH 4 to 5 hours. (Temperature on meat thermometer should read 180 degrees (F) when turkey legs are done.) Remove cooked turkey legs to cutting board and tent with aluminum foil. Let rest for 10 minutes. Remove foil. Slice as desired and place on serving platter. Turkey legs are more tender and flavorful than the rest of the turkey. I hope you enjoy this entree! Love, Betty ♥
