You know the owners of the field knew what the conditions of the field would be in heavy rains. The real issue was not having equipment on hand to remove water and or a 1 hour delay would have made a difference.

At the end of the first half Canada had more possession. The game was being played down their end. They had more near misses that came off good game play...seemed to have created more opportunities in this game. USA were great at capitalising on the opportunities they had. Canada looked heaps stronger to me overall. Their penalty kicks were dismal. USA deserved to win. I don't think the history of who dominates who is as relevant anymore. Definitely the World Cup showed us that you can't rely on history. In the history of time, Canada was dominating USA in the first part of the game last night....@@dolphmanity

Okay that’s a weird way to end a point….but how about the match officials allowing Gilles to be substituted AFTER the whistle had blown and before PK’s were started. That’s not allowed. If she’s hurt, leave the field but you don’t get to insert another player. Hmmmm, paid off?!
