Reiki has nothing to do with religion whatsoever. It's a movement of energy. As per usual, social media has ruined Reiki and its meaning; it's frustrating and disrespectful. But still, as long as people are making a fast buck, that's the main thing, right? With the best will in the world even your understanding of Reiki is not accurate (notwithstanding point of view).

There is no danger in reiki. It's the people who hijack its use 🙏

Though prayer can be used with it, reiki is not prayer, meditation etc . It is a certain practice which uses a certain energy. Reiki is a form of universal energy healing using a specific universal energy referred to as reiki energy. Access to reiki energy is passed down and those who practice this have a lineage of transmission of this energy. Without attunement to the energy one is not using reiki energy. The reiki energy signature is recognizable by those who can feel it. By this video it sounded like you didn't know what reiki actually is (since internet many people who knew no better have come to call any form of energy healing/ spiritual healing -reiki but that isn't the case if it's not reiki energy being used, not reiki . Not all universal energy is reiki and not all energy/spiritual healers use reiki, many use other forms of universal energy. Reiki was brought to the west eg America in the 1930s. (Im sharing reiki history as a 6th Generation reiki channel) People do experience healing crises with reiki as it brings energy up which needs healing/to be neutralized so for a time things may be worst, yes things we need to be released it can bring up. The healing crises of reiki happens as the energy which needs neutralizing is brought to the surface but not removed so hence then people get symptoms or problems from it (if it's removed or when it's let go then there is no healing crises). There is another form of energy healing in which this doesn't occur as the energy is properly removed as it surfaces so not left to then impact upon our physical reality etc. (so reiki isn't my preferred form of healing) As a side note, I myself have found out that reiki can be dangerous if mixed with other healing energies and if ego is used at the same time eg one really wanting to "fix' another is often coming from ego. The energy the other received then can be too strong and tainted. I once almost killed someone when I did that (or maybe I did). I'd always been taught that it could never be harmful and had never an issue till I mixed it with another form of energy healing which I was also experienced at using as I wanted to make the healing more powerful (this combo thou then sent the person I'd sent the energy to hospital, the person was instantly throwing up blood and lots of it due to it, I don't know if he survived what was supposed to be a healing (I wanted to fix cerebral pasly). So never mix reiki energy and stay detached too in the result.. dont try to make things stronger. Some people in life do experience more than they can handle.. suicide wouldn't exist otherwise.

Just personally; I was never ok with calling on the dead, including relatives, to bring a healing energy to me. It's an Eastern idea in traditionally taught reiki that doesn't resonate with me.

I have listened to multiple reiki channels on youtube and most of the time it didn't bother me. I cab usually feel the energy. The crazy thing about it is I started having other presences in my home that weren't there beforehand and I started seeing them clairvoyantly. These presences were not of love and light. I am sure now that some people are using the term "reiki" to send something else ( other energies.) I noticed myself feeling off and confused .Not all reiki practitioners are like this but some are, and u never know who is really sending real reiki or something else, so I had to stop all reiki altogether. BTW I'm not Christian either so this has nothing to do with religious beliefs for me. This is just something I have particularly noticed when dabbling with different reiki practitioners.

To anyone who suggests that Reiki is evil or demonic or etc., I always point to the Precepts. How can any practice that uses these principles as their foundation be evil? I don't think that anyone can read the Precepts and find evil there. Sending blessings to your Reiki journey!

Finally someone questioning and looking for answers. The most important lesson is to come from experience and not theories and opinions. When the soul is ready the experiences will happen to teach us. They can be most unpleasant and dangerous. I was attuned to Reiki to help with my own healing process but learnt some years down the track to allow myself to be attuned to any such energies was indeed dangerous. We may even be healed but interference occurs. This can not only interfere with us but our lineage. There are indeed very dangerous dark energies that can enter our bodies during healing including those from machines. Indeed after a healing I received one such attack that was very dangerous indeed. We could not get this unattached until I worked with my intuitive acupuncturist who followed my bodies instructions to remove it from my body. We already have pockets of healing energies inside of us waiting for us to learn how to work with them. My body actually removed the Reiko interference. I learnt kinesiology and not to get involved with anything unless my body said yes it was OK.

Sooo many people need to hear this!!!

For someone who accepts the smallest part of what cannot be seen without even understanding it, this person's comments on not believing in demons is sad. He dabbles in realms of things unseen having no comprehension of what and where the power is actually coming from. This is not vision, it is blindness. Consider: If a demon can make a person feel better in this world but that trick pulls the person away from knowing G-d, what has the demon actually given the person? Nothing. In the scheme of eternity, a momentary feeling of well being or bliss is irrelevant. Those moments are wholly swallowed up by the eternity of separation from G-d. What a lopsided deal.

The result is important. If it helps you feel better,heal then it works for you. If not, the person doing the reiki is not right for you. We humans are made of flesh and energy. Bible speaks about children of God and children of the devil. Some people are good and some are bad. Imagine, a person with a bad intention ( bad energy in mind) does Reiki. Will this human energy help your body to heal? I do not think so.

Why do you make it so complicated? You love talking. Reiki UNRAVELS the unease in the Mind, Body and soul and brings it to the surface, once it is recognised by self it starts to release. I have been teaching this for 20 years.
