For anyone who doubts Beyoncé’s sincerity, she has praised, emulated, referenced and honored MJ consistently for over 4 decades. He obviously also admired and loved her. We don’t need to compare these two great artists and humans because they have both devoted their lives to giving us music, passion, power and healing. Undoubtedly they will also continue to inspire future generations who will try to aim just as high as they did.

When Beyonce says she wouldn't be doing what she does without Michael, I believe she meant that not only from the perspective of musical inspiration but for the barriers Michael broke down (smashed) so others can walk through. Michael didn't just change music but the world for the better. And Beyonce will always have my love, especially for doing what she believed was right at the 2006 World Music Awards. When other artists and celebrities turned down presenting Michael with his award (or demanded exorbitant amounts of $$$ to do so), she was there and did it with honor and love. In Beyonce's words, long live THE KING👑

+crazy4corbinbleux GOOD CATCH!!! You got a good eye, man! No coincidence at all, I guarantee it. After watching this video, you KNOW it's no coincidence. She has been a Moonwalker since birth like she said. Beyoncé is the Disciple. Early on I saw her as a mix of Diana Ross & Tina Turner with Jackson energy. All of that has come to be 100% true. And knowing the Diana & Michael link, seeing Beyoncé rise must have made him take notice which is why he took her under his wing. Like James Brown did for him, Michael co-signed Beyoncé. She is part of the Lineage.

A lot of people hate on Beyoncé because they think she thinks she’s just as great, or even better than Michael…..but then they forget that it’s the media as well as society that likes to compare the two of them. Beyoncé has always been such a humble artist as well as celebrity, she never tries to act as if she’s better than anyone or just as good as anyone especially Michael Jackson. She literally praises Michael and is inspired by him, but she doesn’t try to act as if she’s better than him. It’s not her fault that she’s talented in her own right, and people love and look up to her…..now in that aspect, she and Michael are alike but that’s all it is, but she never tries to act as if she’s better than him. She’s currently on tour right now, and I bet if she dedicated one of her shows, or one of her songs to Michael and lifted him up…..it would show that she’s never thought of herself as being better than him, even after his death.

In all honesty, before Michael Jackson passed- I was not a big fan of Beyoncé. I thought she was overplayed/overrated. After Michael died, I realized she was one of the few GENUINE people in the music industry that stood by his side while he was alive. Her authenticity and influence from Michael Jackson shined through and I couldn’t believe I hadn’t been a huge fan all of this time. I started to become enamored by her after his passing. To me, Beyoncé is one of the closest living people to Michael in my generation. Prince, Michael’s son always says that in interviews too.

One of the few celebrities who stood by him and gave him his award at shows when others were reluctant to due to his scandal at the time. Even specially honored him at her concert with halo. That alone deserves respect, not yet getting into her talent/skills.

It really brings home the point, that as many folks in and out of the industry who try to continue to destroy his legacy Paris Jackson was right, "No one can destroy his legacy." Its great to see how he continues to influence todays biggest stars. Hope after this video the Moonwalkers and Bee Hive can find peace lol

What I see between these to greats, above all else, is true love... Something that's sorely lacking in the world today. It's crazy how such loving souls have received so much hate. It's like love was their secret language that the world doesn't understand. I will forever love Beyoncé for giving me a glimpse of MJ's greatness in her own special way. What a beautiful video ❤

Without the King of Pop, Rock and Soul being the only first ever black artist in history to pioneer his signatures and open doors for future and younger generations, Beyonce wouldn't even be here right now. All little details that these new artists do, from the on-point choreography down to the costumes, everything always point out to MJ who did it all first. They just didn't realize it or remarked it, but MJ has a huge impact and influence on them. My huge thanks to him because he ignited my love for music and appreciating these artists. I hope that they too would never become ignorant and learn to look back humbly just like the King of Pop. Missing you much, Michael. I love you!❤🫶

It must be an honor for him to be remembered by Beyonce. I always thought her bounce had a little less sway in it but had no idea that she was completely infatuated with the Kang of Pop! This adds more depth to the amount of respect I have for Beyonce as a legend of Diva entrepreneur pop artists. She too cannot be mimicked, cloned, or replaced.

Wow! THIS ICONIC! This was a great video. I didn’t know she had so many interactions with him. No wonder she honors him every chance she gets. Not the biggest Beyoncé fan but respect to Bey and was always humble and knew who the king was. She had such kind words for him. Somehow I forgot all of this, as I am a massive Britney fan. Also Michael was a genius and always a step ahead. What Bey is doing with Renaissance is brilliant and there’s sprinkles of Michael all over the show.

This is the way I look at it. As a millennial/Gen-Z’er I am saddened by the reality I will never see Michael Jackson perform again. I will never get to have him for the rest of my lifetime. He still dominates my Spotify top songs each year and is literally my most played artist. But what I do have, is Beyoncé. I just came back from the ‘Renaissance’ world tour and was almost in tears thinking of Michael when she did a mash up of Love On Top/I Want You Back, Break My Soul/Shake Your Body(Down To The Ground) and ‘Virgo’s Groove’ which in my view is an ode to Michael. Even watching this video, I have chills looking at the parallels between the all-gold ‘HIStory’ tour and the all-silver ‘Renaissance’ tour. She cannot compare to Michael. No one will ever hold a torch to the King of Pop. But for me, Beyoncé is the closest thing I have to match that ‘star’ quality and the fact she was a genuine fan of his while he was alive- I am thankful she is here.
